Shaking his head as she reached for her cuffs, it seemed that his hand had been forced. In almost the blink of an eye, Batman grabbed the sidearm by the barrel, and twisted it out of Vale’s hand before throwing it off to the side. At the same time, his other hand had pulled out more smoke pellets from his utility belt.
“I’m sorry Sergeant, but you don’t get to arrest me today,”[/b][/I] he said before he threw the smoke pellets at his feet.
Before leaving the scene, Thomas had swiped Vanessa’s handcuffs, and used them to handcuff her to one of the shelves. Once he was outside the store, he pulled out his grappling gun, and fired it to the ledge above. Once he had exited the smoke, he heard the sounds of shots being fired at him from the police below.
