It was about 2 in the morning and there was no moon in the sky. Which meant Prince Sha'do was at full strength. He strolled into the Wastelands, eyeing the carnage caused in The Battle.
'Shame I missed this. It would've been fun. Don't you agree Nathan? Oh right, I forgot, you're asleep.'
Sha'do laughed into the night as he walked. Because it was a New Moon he was able to silence Nathan for the night, it helped so much. He stopped in the center of a large crater, supposedly where Darkseid killed Apocalypse. He drew his sword and raised his hands.
'I, Prince Sha'do the Fallen One call on you lost souls! Come to me for I command you!'
The ground began to glow and soon all the souls of those who died here began to flow to him and into his body and sword.
'Yes! I can feel my power increasing already!'

Eve had long ago come to the conclusion that the world would never be free of crime or evil, no matter how many villains she put away or put down the road of rehabilitation, there would always be someone willing to break the law or embrace evil for one of thousands of reasons. Did that mean she'd simply give up? Of course not, try harder in fact! Still....humanity might never be perfect, with so many crimes going on at the same time you had to make decisions, which was more important? Who got relief and who suffered?
There was one crime Eve would not tolerate, and that was disturbing the eternal rest of those brave heroes that gave the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of the planet could live and be free. That's what brought Ubergirl hurtling through the nightsky. The...anomaly of what was going on triggered her surveillance systems in her headquarters in space.
The half-Kryptonian landed soft, eyes focused on the....clearly magic user....she'd have to watch out for that. With a quick move she hurled a blast of electromagnetic energy at the individual. "Not on this girls watch!"

Sha'do flew forward, landing on his stomach. He began to laugh, softly at first before it began to grow, shaking his whole body. He pulled himself up, dusting his armor and coat before turning to his attacker.
"Ohh...very nice. I have been looking for a pet for sometime. And I like my women to have some spunk."
He said with a smirk before he began to walk towards her. All the glowing orbs having fallen back into the ground when his concentration faded. He didn't like being interrupted but would make due, for now.
"Let's see what you got."
He raised his hands and the darkness on either side began to swirl. Soon it took the form of a large sabretooth tiger like creature, one on either side. Both were made of pure shadow energy and would've been nigh-invisible if not for their glowing red eyes.
"Go get her."
The two creatures then began to run towards her.

"A lot more then you can handle!" she replied, trying to keep her responses in check, it would be easy to get upset when someone was desecrating where your parents died saving the planet.
Her eyes shot between the two creatures that had appeared, the eyes being the tell tale sign of their existence, but her eyes could make out their shadowy shapes easily enough...then they began to charge! The half-mutant dropped into a defensive stance as they came at her. Fists clenched, lets see what a pair of big cats could!
Waiting for them to come into swinging range, she aimed a swift punch to the jaw of the first, preparing a kick for the next.

With a howl the two creatures flew after Ubergirl's strikes connected. They flew a ways, rolled and then came at her again.
"It'll take more than that to take out my pets."
He said with a smirk before sitting down on a pile of rubble and watching his sword still in hand. This was very interesting to watch. She was powerful, he'd figured that out already. So far the only real challenge he'd encountered was Rain. But he knew there were more interesting creatures in this realm, and it seemed he'd encountered another one. The two creatures roared and each lept, intending to sink their razor sharp teeth into Ubergirl's flesh.

The creatures went hurtling, but soon were coming back, meanwhile the gent who's efforts had brought her here was having himself a little sit down. That would never do! Ubergirl wasn't going to waste time on some little ghost things when the real criminal was watching a show! As they came at her again, she swung a fist at the first again, this time it was a punch of tremendous force, far harder then any human could punch!
The second one however, managed to get into biting distance, clamping down on her shoulder. If it wasn't for her protective costume, it would have probably pierced her skin! It didn't stop a yelp of pain getting out however, before she collected herself and launched a fist towards his stomach, hoping to hit hard enough to knock it up all the way into space!
"I'm not wasting time with these games! I will not allow you to tarnish this place with your presence!" With that she exploded towards him, flying faster then the human eye could follow, hoping to get him with a two punch combo, followed by a harsh uppercut!

The creatures vanished when Ubergirl let loose on them, their energy returning to the surrounding darkness. Sha'do stood up smirking. He opened his mouth to speak but was soon hit with several powerful punches and flew back. He disappeared into the darkness surround the two, teleporting to his shadow dimension. Sure he had some sort of healing ability but it still hurt like hell. Recomposing himself he stepped out of a shadow, dark blood staining his shirt.
"Impressive."
He said with a sore smirk and nod of his head.
"Let's see how this works..."
He put his hands together before firing a blast of black shadow energy at her. Sure was powerful but he didn't know if this would work or not. Mostly he was just playing around.

If he was playing around, he was making a deadly mistake.....because she certainly wasn't playing around. Ubergirl wasn't very good at dealing with magic, she wasn't going to make it easy and sit around letting him knock her around the place with it. She dived to one side, watching the energy blast fly past. The look of determination to teach him a lesson never leaving his face. "If only I was here to impress you."
Her speed appeared to be a key advantage, she hadn't seen any evidence of him having speed to her scale so it was likely her best chance to take him down. Once again her feet left the ground as she broke into flight, blasting towards him at breakneck speeds, making a zig-zag to make her position hard to tell, hoping to unleash a ferocious barrage of punches and kicks on the.... sorcerer? warlock?

"If you were smart you'd be trying to impress me. Especially since soon enough I'll be ruling this realm."
He said with a smirk. He watched as she dove out of the way of his energy blast. No problem there, if he'd hit her he would've been very surprised. When she came at him again he jumped back, disappearing into a shadow. He was in his element right now, darkness. He could teleport and jump around before finally getting her.
"Not fast enough my pet."
He said with a laugh before appearing behind her and firing several energy blasts in her direction. However his energy attacks weren't like regular ones. It wouldn't harm her physically but on the soul level. Once her soul was damaged enough he could claim it and and her body for himself.

"Smarter and stronger people have tried to take over this "realm" and it hasn't gotten them anywhere far." replied young Evelyn, fists clenched as she focused to try find him, her senses scanning the area for when he'd reappear. She hated magic.....like really hated it. Eventually she was struck in the back, it was strange though. It didn't really hit, she didn't feel it like a punch or an energy beam. It was something else. Still....it chilled her on the inside. The half-Kryptonian didn't like it...not one bit.
It took her a moment to shake herself back into focus, but she was back to herself eventually. Breaking into flight once more, the black and gold clad heroine fly in a large arc, bringing herself low, just skimmed over the ground. With a burst of superspeed she closed the distance between herself and the warlock, aiming both fists to get him on the chin...and get him hard....Ubergirl hard.

He smirked as he watched the beams take effect. She was strong though, he had to give her that. His blasts had dropped men twice her size and left them screaming in pain or completely under his control. He was having fun with her, a lot of fun.
'No one like me has ever been here. I can guarantee that.'
He said with a smirk. He watched as she shook it off and took to the air. As she flew towards him he fired a quick blast at her, but it was at the same time as her fists connected. He flew back, landing hard on some debris and destroying it. He laid there, not even looking to see if his blast connected or effected her.

"You have no idea how many times I've heard that.....meglomaniacs, you're all like photocopies of each other." she nearly laughed. All laughing aside though, while her fists were flying towards his face, he had been preparing another blast of his magic. It got her head on as she was going towards him. Far from ideal. She felt her body whip around as she recoiled from the blast. Going head on to these things was never a pleasant experience, nevermind the soul chilling experience that made her feel like someone had reached down her throat and pulled out something. Not anything physical...but something very real.
The half-mutant pulled herself to her feet, knowing full well that magic was going to weight her down heavy if she let it. No more playing stupid, no more leaving herself exposed. With a flick of her wrists a forcefield bubble appeared around her, she slowly started to rise into the air. Her eyesight would pick him out from a mile away, even in the night darkness, time to play to her strengths. As she rose up, she reached out to all the metal debris, from the destroyed buildings and cars that had once been there on the fateful day of the battle way back when.
Up towards the clouds now, she created a mighty magnetic field in his general location, calling more and more metal debris to slam in. Fingers crossed he'd be crushed or sliced or something.

He began to stir as a piece of a bumper was pulled from under him. He shook his head and sat up, looking at her. His face was in horrible pain and no doubt something was broken. Especially as he felt the bones resetting. If he hadn't absorbed some of the souls he'd have died, for sure. He stood up and watched her rise into the air and pull all the metal from the area up. He fired a few blasts but there was no effect.
"Ohh...now this should be fun."
He raised his hands and soon the ground began to shake. Skeletons of the dead citizens and soldiers began to rise from their unexpected graves. Some even still wielding assault rifles. When he had finished he was surrounded by 20 skeletons and other corpses that were mostly decomposed.
"Now can you kill innocents? Again?"
He crossed his arms, ready to disappear into a nearby shadow just in case she called his bluff.

"Ah...a necromancer." she commented to herself more then him as the bodies started to rise. "All the more reason for me to enjoy beating you into tar." Warlocks in general were bad but Necromancers? They were the worst of the worst when it came to magic users.
When some of his minions revealed assault rifles, she just rolled her eyes. Over fifty years since her father started showing the world the power of magnetism and they still hadn't learned. "I can't kill whats not alive you sick bastard!" roared the mistress of magnetism as she manipulated her magnetic energies, hands moving to guide them. With a large final swing of her hands she aimed to sweep him away with a tidal wave like rush of metallic debris.

"I may be sick but you're a coward, far worse in my opinion."
He said with a smirk. She was getting angry and he enjoyed it. His soldiers began to scatter as he disappeared into the darkness all around him. The metal hit with a large crash, destroying the bodies of some minions but others had managed to run clear. He reappeared on the other side of the field, now laughing hysterically.
"Desecrating the bodies of the dead, now who's sick?"
He asked laughing a bit. He saw that when she was in her forcefield there wasn't anything he could do. Sure if she cast a shadow he could jump into the forcefield with her but he was smart enough to know not to get that close to her. But he began to hurl energy blasts at her, laughing as he did.
"Come down and fight me coward!"
