Usual Clothes:
Warren normally dresses in a pair of faded blue jeans, black boots, and a t-shirt. Even though he possesses great wealth, gained from both his parents, he rarely uses it to buy himself anything fancy to wear. When Warren has to do anything with Worthington Industries, he will dress accordingly by wearing expensive, tailored suits...sometimes.
Combat Uniform:
Warren wears a replica of the black and silver suit that his father wore during his time as Archangel/Death. He’s modified it so that it has a thin layer of flexible adamantium insulation for better protection and each of his two knives has a built in sheath on his thighs.
Personality:
In a word Warren is messed. After years of emotional and physical abuse, Warren is questionably insane. On the outside Warren comes off as intelligent, witty, carefree, and charming. Underneath the facade however is a monster who delights in the pain of others and of himself.
Weaknesses:
Masochistic: Warren delights in the feeling of pain, whether it’s self inflicted or not. Because of this, Warren has no concerns about putting himself in danger. If there is a chance that pain will be inflicted upon him then he’ll do it.
Addiction: Warren loves to kill people. Man, woman, young, old, innocent, or guilty. Warren doesn't care who you are. Warren's obsession and need to kill fills his thoughts constantly and that obsession needs to be sated on a regular basis in order for him to keep himself in check so that he doesn’t blow his secret identity as a multi-millionaire. If his addiction were to not be met, Warren’s mental stability would crumble.
Powers:[/b]
Flight: Dreadwing is able to fly thanks to his bird like wings. His normal cruising speed averages around 70mph, though he is capable of diving swoops that reach up to 180mph. He can fly at 150mph without the help of a tail wind for up to half an hour at a time before tiring to an appreciable degree. Though he generally flies beneath the height of the clouds he can reach a height of 10,000 feet with little effort. With severe strain he can attain the highest recorded altitude of a bird in flight (African Geese at 29,000 feet above sea level), but he can only remain at that height for several minutes.
Aerial Adaptation: Warren’s entire anatomy is naturally adapted to flying. His bones are hollow like a birds, making him weigh far less than usual for a man of his build. His body is virtually devoid of fat and possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. His eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. He also possesses a special membrane in his respiratory system enabling him to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.
Peak Human Strength: Due to his body's natural mutation, he possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to him in body weight.
Superhuman Stamina: Dreadwing’s musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. His physical stamina while in flight is considerably greater. Warren can fly non-stop under his own power for a maximum of approximately twelve hours.
Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Dreadwing’s body are somewhat harder and more durable than that of an ordinary human, though he is far from invulnerable. While he can be injured in ways comparable to an ordinary human, his body is structured to withstand the friction caused by flying at high speeds. He can also withstand impact forces that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with only mild to moderate discomfort.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Warren possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables him to repair damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. He can completely recover from non-fatal injuries such as slash and punctures within a matter of hours and injuries as severe as broken bones within a few days.
Telekinesis : Ability to psionically manipulate the physical aspects of reality. He can also move and levitate other people and, if need be, fly as other telekinetics do. He can also create telekinetic shields of various sizes and strength.
Tactile Telekinesis: Warren has the ability to use his telekinesis to enhance his speed, strength, Agility and other fighting skills into super-human levels.
Telepathy: Warren is a high order telepath. He possesses vast mental powers to affect and manipulate the minds of other sentient beings. Dreadwing can read minds and communicate mentally with others over long distances. When he telepathically communicates with another person over a distance, that person often perceives his presence as an eagle-like bird with red eyes and blood dripping from it’s wings.
Telepathic Immunity: Immune to any form of others' telepathy–including telepathic attacks, and probes.
Psychic Shadow: Warren is able to mask his presence from others. His abilities can go undetected and are very difficult to track, even by very powerful telepaths. If he wants, Warren can even extend this power to others around him as well.
Psycho Blasts: Can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects, but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain, unconsciousness, or even death.
Abilities:(Different From Powers):
Expert Combatant (Including air-to-air combat)
Expert Torturer
Multi-lingual
Weapons:
Though Warren prefers to not use weapons, he carries two MW Sniper knives so that he can either inflict pain upon himself or on others.
History:
Before the time of the Terrible Triad, Warren Worthington III and Elizabeth Braddock had been former lovers and teammates who realized that even though they loved each other they would never be able to stay together.
But after the merger and history changed, only Elizabeth knew that nothing was right and that history changed. Psylocke didn’t care though as now she was married to the man she loved. Shortly after the change, Psylocke ended up pregnant with the man who would eventually become Dreadwing. The pregnancy proved to be difficult for the mutant and Psylocke ended up dying during childbirth, taking all the knowledge of the reality change with her.
Warren’s father had done his best at raising his son alone, and to his credit, had done a rather good job. The young Worthington boy was bright, vibrant, and well behaved. At least for the beginning of his life.
When the great battle happened, Warren’s whole life had changed. Angel never returned and his uncle, Captain Britain, had come back paralysed from the battle. Even though Warren was suppose to live with his with his uncle and aunt, Brian and Meggan were unable to care for him thanks to their injuries. So instead, Warren was sent to live with his paternal aunt and uncle who had actually hated mutants.
From the age of six until he was eighteen, Warren was subjected to physical and emotional abuse from his aunt and uncle. Thanks to his healing abilities though, his aunt and uncle were able to beat him as much as they liked without fear of the abuse being discovered. It was because of this abuse that Warren eventually grew into a masochist.
Throughout the years that Warren spent in solitude, when he wasn’t being beaten, he experimented with his powers and eventually learned to hone them to the point that he had mastered them. Warren knows he is capable of more but is currently happy with the level he has progressed with his mutant powers.
When Warren had turned eighteen and gained control of his father’s company, he decided it was time to remove his aunt and uncle from his life, and brutally killed them after he had tortured them for several days. When he was done with them. Warren travelled to England where he then ‘punished’ his uncle Brian and aunt Meggan for sending him to live with his paternal aunt and uncle who abused him for years.
Using his father’s resources, Warren then crafted a new suit for himself based on the design his father had during his time as Archangel/Death. Thanks to technological advancements though, Warren was able to add improvements to the suit.
Now when he isn’t running Worthington Industries Warren spends his time as Dreadwing, a criminal known from his brutal killings.
