Ending it with the original Green Hornet mask which he took from the Hornets nest on his visit after his brothers burial.
Personality:
Tyler Reid is a trouble maker through and through. A certain aspect which has been shared by his mother and his father and has been given to his brother and him. Getting into trouble with kids, teachers gangs, cops hell even a mail man and dog catcher. All of these encounters made him a knowledgeable source for crime and it's operations.
Snarky and always has a one liner packed somewhere in his head. He enjoys throwing one out there at any chance he gets, especially if it's directed at police. He has some old wounds when it comes to the law.
He plays the part of the spoiled rich kid trying to live in his fathers shadow and coast off it but really he's just someone who truly admired his father and all he did in his crusade.
As the Green Hornet he brings a certain old school character with it. He believe criminals today lack class so he wants to bring it back only if to bring those who he works with down.
Weaknesses:
He feels obligated to uphold all his family had done and won't settle for anything less but perfect when it comes from his activities. This gives him a distinct low confidence when he sees a plan failing, though he has adequate improv skills he always hesitates before acting giving him a clear opening as a target.
Still human so high caliber bullets that can pierce his kevlar and a well place punch to his chops would be sufficient enough to take him out.

History:
Tyer is his father's son, and his grandfather's grandson as well. He and his brother were always getting into trouble, Tyler being the recipient of the biggest punishment. He was the black sheep of his family and loved every minute of it. His mother loved it too; Lois Lane, one of the best reporters whom worked at the Sentinel with Tyler's father. Embraced her sons wild nature, seeing it as making him what would be needed in the years to come.
Another aspect that cements Tyler as a reid, he's a reporter. Even in school he had written for the school paper exposing things about the school while making his own brand of sattire against the school. All the way to college as well, he got his degree in journalism because of his particular brand of reporting. That and a well placed picture of a certain philandering teacher always helps.
Tyler and his brother were demons, but his brother was better at getting out of trouble. That's what made His Brother Britt the ideal for his choice to become the third Green Hornet. The choice was made soon after their father had died. Tyler was 18 and Britt was 22 at the time. Their lawyer, a trusted family friend; Kenji Kato was the one who took them to the Hornets nest. There Kenji told the two of their deceased fathers "Special" will, saying that the legacy of the Green Hornet was a legacy of pain but also justice and that he would trust no other than his own son Britt.
Needless to day that came as a shot to the nuts for Tyler who sank into obscurity from his family. He took the occasional odd job to keep his lfe, but he never could live down the fact that his father didn't think him good enough to be part of the family legacy. He had been in and out of prison but was always let go seeing as he was more help to the police and his charges somehow disappeared.
Years passed, the battles came and Tyler did what he could. He helped then moved on. Until one day he came home to one of the most delapidated motels in his city only to find none-other than his mother sitting waiting for him. "Tyler." She said,
"Mom."
"We need to talk."
Turns out while Tyler's been gone, his family had kept eyes on him, and it wasn't hard seeing the case Tyler helped on were the ones that his brother and Kenji had been working on. That and his mother was one of the best reporters in the city.
During the battles Britt and Kenji had died. Tyler couldn't be reached so he had no idea. His mother had told him that his dying had left something missing in the city. A reason to fight. The Hornet gave the cops the back bone and with scanlon gone, the people willing to fight were bar none. Tyler didn't like where this was going but his mother wasn't one to take no, even from her own son. "The city needs a hornet Tyler, and lord knows your brother was good, but he wasn't immortal. You have choice Tyler; Live the way you are supposed to, or keep stealing cable."
Tyler came back to the hornets nest and there he saw some strange things. Like a life-sized robot that had the face of Kato. and a disc waiting on the desk near the hornets computer. Playing the disc Tyler saw it was from his brother. It said everything that Tyler would never believe to hear from his brother. He should've been given the Hornet title, he was the better person for this job, he had the heart. He only had his brain.
On the tape, Tyler was told that in the event of his death Tyler would recieve everything, the house, the sentinel, the hornets nest. everything. Tyler was the Green Hornet, Britt was just warming the role up for him. All that was left was for Tyler to make the decision.
Tyler got up from the desk and walked over to the mannequin wearing Tyler's grandfather's costume and smiled. "Like a man once said." He opened the glass to the costume and took out the mask, "Wait till they get a load of me."
