Personality:
Amiko has been a bit jaded ever since witnessing her mother's death and holds her father in the highest respect.She comes off to most people as harsh, sarcastic and cold but to those she admires or respects she is nothing but sweet.
Weaknesses:
When Amiko is in her fluid state she is very sensitive to temperature. If it is too hot she can evaporate, too cold she can freeze, both of which could hurt or kill her or trap her in that state.
Needs humidity in the air to create water.
She can be extremely moody, and very stubborn. When she gets an idea stuck in her hear it is there to stay.

History:
Aquaman met the young Akiko during one of his missions which had brought him to the cost of Japan which had lead to a short lived relationship. Three weeks after Arthur's return home Akiko had discovered that she had become pregnant. Not wanting to bother the hero with the burden of raising a family Akiko never bothered to contact him to inform him of the child he fathered.
Some years passed and Amiko grew. The other children often teased her for not knowing her father and for the color of her eyes...Blue, unlike all of her classmates who had either brown or black eyes. This lead to Amiko getting herself into plenty of schoolyard fights. This prompted Akiko to start Amiko training in Judo, in hopes that it would teach her when it was right to fight and when it was not. This was instilled on Amiko, but the training of her body as well as her mind began showing some side effects that wasn't showing in other children. One day as she was meditating an orb of water began forming in front of her, bursting in her face like a water balloon when her eyes opened. Amiko ran home to tell her mother what had happened only to find their home in flames. Not thinking twice about it Amiko rushed into her home to attempt to save her mother. When she found her she was half burred under parts of the roof that had caved in, there was no saving her and Amiko knew it. With Akiko's dying breath she told her daughter her father's name before dying in her daughter's arms.
Now with no home Amiko went to the old man who ran the dojo she had been training in. He had taken quite a shine to Amiko, especially after the display of power on the day her mother died and agreed to raise her in the dojo. He trained her hard, readying her for the life she was about to lead. During the day he trained her along with his other students, and after hours he did his best to train the powers she was so rapidly developing. Though his hope was to have Amiko take his place at the Dojo one day he knew that was not meant to be.
Over the years of living in the dojo Amiko spent most of her free time attempting to find her father, her last living relative. With the help of the internet she found him by the time she was 15 but couldn't bring herself to contact him. She felt she wasn't good enough yet, that she wasn't ready to be Aquaman's daughter. Though she never met him she held him in the highest respect and wanted her father to have a daughter to be proud of. It was eventually her dojo master who first made contact with Arthur, asking him to come to Japan for something that desperately needed his attention.
Amiko finally met her father on her 16th birthday and Arthur was more then happy to welcome his child into his arms. However her time with her father seemed to be as shoetlived as the time he spent with her mother. Upon his death Amiko took up a mask and a costume which bore the japanese symbol for water. Calling herself Mizu she joined up with the Teen Titans, to honor her father's memory.
