[glow=red,2,300]"Krull will EAT your chill-drunn!"[/glow] Honestly, he couldn't believe some of the things he was meant to be expected to put up with in this new career. Bipedal reptilians from beneath the earth's surface had to be one of the most ridiculous things he'd ever heard of in his entire life. And yet, here was, knocking the heads of two of them together to knock them unconcious. "Krull, I don't think I need to tell you that human children are off the menu!" Connor retorted to subterranean invader, driving a fist into the creature's gut.
He got two fists coming down on his head for the effort, causing his face to imprint into the tarmac below. [glow=red,2,300]"They say you're a supuh-muhn. That you're the heir of their greatest saviuur. All I see is simply a muhn."[/glow] Connor could feel the lizard tugging at his hair, pulling him up from the ground, before delivering a right hook to the half-kryptonian's face. Connor went flying through the air, bouncing off the pavement like a ragdoll before finally getting his bearings again. He grinded to a halt, his feet digging a small trench, as he gave a fierce look of determination at the creature. Distracted by the battle however (and his ears still ringing from the punch), he was unaware to one of Krull's soldiers leaping at him from behind.

Deandra had been alerted that there was trouble and made her way quickly to where the trouble was. She scooped out the situation and saw the one person being attacked by reptiles. It seemed that hero already there was getting his tossed around by the aliens so far.
Deandra grabbed her lasso and spun it around before lassoing the solider that was leaping at the hero from behind. She easy dragged the reptile into the air before spinning him and sending him flying into the others easily knocking them all out. "Looks like you could use a hand," Deandra told him landing in easy talking distance. She picked another one that came towards and threw him easily into a few others.

OOC: Couldnt figure out the colour you used for Wonder woman
"Looks like you could use a hand." "Huh?" Was Connor's immediate response, looking at woman in strange clothing, who was tossing around Krull's soldiers with ease. "Ah, right. Krull over here is from several thousand meters beneath the surface. He thinks humans stole the Earth from his dinosaur ancestors, and thus the surface is his rightful territory. Frankly I don't know what surprises me more - that he even exists, or the fact he speaks english." He said, closing the gap between him and Krull in moments.
From there, Connor delivered a right hook to the lizard man, followed up quickly by a left. His opponent tempoarily stunned, Connor took the liberty of lifting Krull over his head, before tossing him at the growing pile of his own unconcious soldiers. "I think it's time you chill out Krull." Connor gave a terrible pun as he flew above them, breathing in deeply, before letting out his freeze breath. The pile soon became a clear cone of ice, a tempoary prison for them. "Despite being coldblooded, I can still hear their heartbeats in there - talk about resilient. All we need to do is send them back down into the ground, and their own people will probably deal with him." Krull's mannerisms and less than sizeable number of forces indicated he was little more than an extremist.
Twenty minutes later...
Connor was back out of the hole soon enough, having ferried the ice block down all the way. He flew to the woman who had aided him earlier, only realisingnow that her appearance was exceptional in more than just her outfit. However, he knew to remain polite. "Thanks for the help. Didn't catch your name." It was better if he had someone to call her other than 'the woman'. "People around the city have begun calling me Superman, so I guess that's who I am."

OOC: No problem the color changes with almost every post since I can not choose the same color each post
Deandra listened carefully to what she was told by Connor. "So they think we took the Earth from his ancestors? Dinosaurs would of trampled are ancestors if they lived at the same time," Deandra points out. She had to agree it was strange to find a being of dinosaur descendant and could speak English.
Deandra helped Connor pile up Krull's companions and Connor then froze them. Deandra nodded when Connor stated they still had heartbeats. He then picked them up and flew them down into the hole. Deandra put her lasso away while he was gone. Deandra waited till Connor returned to the surface.
Deandra smiled when he stated that people were calling him Superman. "People call me Wonder Woman," she told him. Many times people had mistaken her for her mother back from the dead till they realize she was too young. "Nice to meet you Superman," Wonder Woman told him.

What she said about what would have happened if humans and dinosaurs had actually coexisted was more than likely, he supposed. When he got the name, he was more than a little surprised by the simplicity of it. In fact, it was pretty much as simple as the title people had been giving him. 'Superman' and 'Wonder Woman'. He wondered if hers was by choice, unlike his.
"Nice to meet you too Wonder Woman." He said, before giving a glance at the growing crowds around them. He could hear them murmuring, asking questions - as usual. "Perhaps we should go elsewhere if we wish to maintain a private conversation. And I think I know just the spot." He began flying upwards, beckoning for her to follow. He made his way through the air, one hand stretched out in front of the other - almost as if he were posing. He just seemed to do it out of habit really.
Eventually, he came to a stop mid-flight, mild winds causing his cape to flutter about lightly. "Here we go. Roughly 2000 feet above the city. I don't think anyone will interrupt us here." He smiled, looking at Wonder Woman. "So Wonder Woman, what exactly brings you to New York?"

Wonder Woman also noticed the growing crowd around them. It was not uncommon when heroes saved the day and then even more people were likely to notice when it was more then one hero. Deandra easily followed Superman higher in the sky. Where more privacy was guaranteed.
Deandra stopped at the same altitude as Superman and positioned herself in a way that showed she was treating him as an equal. "Well I heard the trouble and flew here to help. I did not realize help had arrived when I responded to the call," Deandra told him.

So, someone had sent out the message that reptilians were attacking then? "Well, I heard it too, though a bit more literally than you did I think." He smiled, before tapping the side of his ear lightly. "I can hear just about everything that goes on in the city really. From the wind blowing around us, to the giggles of a newborn baby in the bronx. It's a little hard to concentrate at times, but it can also be pretty soothing." He explained, also giving an explanation as to how he'd heard the heartbeats earlier.

"Impressive. I never heard with anyone with hearing that sharp. Makes me wonder what other powerful senses you have," Deandra told him. She also knew if she asked him it was only fair for him to ask about her powers. She was not ready to reveal all she could do.
"You hear any trouble now?" Deandra asked him. She was always on alert for new trouble. Trouble never seems to break.

"Seems to come as a pack, along with several other powers. Hell, as I showed you back there, I can just blow things hard enough to freeze them." He a wide range of powers, putting it quite mildly. He could even see into the electromagnetic spectrum beyond normal light, though figuring out which was which was something he hadn't figured out. "And don't worry, the city and its people aren't under threat every second. You can relax." It was strange. When he actually had the cape on... he felt comfortable speaking as if he really were the hero the legion wanted him to be.

Deandra nodded when Superman pointed out that he could blow hard enough to freeze. "I know some powers can be hard to control. I have meet enough superheroes to know some powers are harder to control then others," Deandra told him. Deandra had seen many types of power and not all where pleasant to look at.
"You never know when trouble will appear. It did not take me long to learn that trouble is never far away. I try to be alert so I am less likely to be taken by surprise," Deandra pointed out.
