The rain pelted down against his suit as he was perched on one of the many rooftops that overlooked downtown Gotham. From behind the cowl, his emerald green eyes watched the people walking along the streets below. He felt the droplets of water sliding down his bare face as he studied their movements closely. Above him, lightning briefly lit up the night sky in a beautiful shade of purple before returning Gotham to the darkness it seemed to wallow in only to be followed shortly thereafter by a loud clap of thunder. He found it funny how hopeless romantics and lonely hearts claimed that rain was from God crying, but Thomas knew that Gotham wasn’t worth crying over. If God was showering Gotham, it certainly wasn’t with his tears.
Moving from his perch, he stalked across the ledge of the rooftop when he noticed a couple shady looking men seek shelter in the threshold of one of the many stores that were found along the street. Watching them, he knew that they were up to no good as they kept looking over their shoulders as they huddled against the doorway. Then a bright violet colored van pulled up and the two men rushed into it. Something about the scene had rubbed him the wrong way. So the Dark Knight grabbed the edges of his cape, jumped from the ledge, and glided through the air as he followed the vehicle. He was thankful that he had added the new material into the cape to allow himself to glide through the night sky, much as he was doing now to tail the violet van through the Gotham streets. All he had to do was add a little electrical current to stiffen the cape and viola, he soring through Gotham's dark night sky anytime he needed to.
What are you up to?[/I]
Almost as if fate was reading his mind, his question was answered as the night sky echoed with the sound of an explosion coming from the First National City Bank of Gotham. As he approached he saw that the entrance to the bank had been blown open and an unmarked armored truck backing into the threshold. From out of the van the two men he was tracking got out. Luckily for him, none of the criminals noticed his presence, but they soon would.
Bringing himself into a dive, he aimed towards one of the men he had followed, and once he was twenty feet away he opened his cape wide to slow his descent enough so that when his heels connected to the back of the man’s head that it didn’t break his neck. Letting his cape return to normal, he pushed off the man’s limp body as it was falling to the wet pavement, and twisted mid-air to land between the armored truck and the men attempting to rob the bank. By the time he had landed, he had already nabbed several tear gas pellets from his utility belt to use in case the men tried to rush him.
“Don’t you fools ever learn?”[/b][/I] He called out in his usual raspy and stony brass voice as he stood draped in his cape, waiting for the men to make the first move.

It had been a very, very long day for Pandora as she tried desperately to try and get her stupid goons together. Their mission wasn't hard, they were just making it hard. It was simple, really it was. Rob. A. Bank. How hard was that? Not hard at all! They were all just being stupid! "You're an idiot!" Pandora screamed in the briefing room. She quickly pulled out her father's knife and threw it at the goon. It struck him right in the heart and he fell over dead. She looked at the others in the room. They looked at her fearfully. "I chose you morons out of a bigger group of morons because I thought you were the best. The best of the worst, to be exact and you idiots are just proving me wrong!" She bellowed, finally having had it with the idiots in front of her. "I'm going to go to the bank after grabbing two more idiots, understand? You lot go to the bank and do as I ask of you. Don't be too obvious alright?" She asked, her voice clearly pained. The group before her nodded their heads and rushed away without questions. "I'm surrounded by idiots," Selena muttered aloud before shaking her head and walking towards where the Purple Sedan was.
Selena, dressed as Pandora, her alter ego, hopped into the vehicle and made her way towards the pick up zone. She was going through traffic of course, which was fun. She ignored the Gotham citizens as they looked at her bright purple car like it was an alien. She noticed the two goons of hers were whispering, close together. She rolled her eyes. Inconspicuous my ass, she thought bitterly as she pulled over and opened the door. The goons got into the van and she shook her head, driving towards the bank. Selena cursed loudly as she heard a loud bang. "Dammit," she snapped, the two goons inside jumping in fright before she stopped the van. They got out and immediately were attacked by someone. Pandora stayed in the van for a moment before she grinned when she saw who it was. She jumped out of the van and held out her hands, stopping her goons from attacking. "You should know that goons never learn, Batsie." She said, her father's trademark nickname for the Batman rolling off her tongue with ease.

Internally he let out a sigh as he saw Pandora get out the van. He had hoped that after their last run in that she would have taken more time off, but of course he wouldn’t be that lucky. As the lightning lit up the night sky again, Thomas narrowed his eyes as his gaze shifted between the six goons that were still left standing before they fell upon Pandora once more.
“Apparently you don’t either Pandora,”[/b][/I] he replied before more thunder boomed overhead.
Each one of these guys is packing a H&K MP5KA4 which means thirty rounds per mag per goon. That’s a lot of bullets, but chances are these guys can’t shoot worth a damn against a still target let alone one moving quickly and in heavy rain.[/I]
Thomas was certain that if things went bad that he’d be more than able to handle Pandora’s thugs, but it was Pandora he was worried about. She was unpredictable. She could turn and run or she would take opportunity of him being busy attack him herself.
“Things can go down one of two ways Pandora. The easy way,”[/b][/I] he paused as he used his slight of hand skills to pull out several standard batarangs from under his cape. “Or my way.”[/b][/I]
Deep down Thomas really hoped that they would choose his way.

Pandora giggled and waved at Batman, twirling a strange of her green pigtails around her right index finger. She pouted cutely when he said that apparently she didn't learn either. "Now, now, Batsie. That's not a very nice thing to say!" She said, playfully wagging her finger at him as she scolded him. She smiled then. "Besides, how boring would this world be without me and my expendable goons?" She asked with a smile, making some of them look at her shocked, but she didn't care. To her, these men were expendable. There were tens if not hundreds of men who would gladly take their place. Although none of them would do Pandora very good. They were all idiots who had either dropped out of high school or barely passed and had no ambition in life anymore. Not that she really minded, of course. They were free goons that she could use and abuse to her pleasure. Why? Because they were men and eye candy like Pandora was enough to keep them in line, plus, her temper wasn't something to mess with.
Pandora tilted her head to the side when Batman said that things could go down one of two ways. She grinned at him a little before he pulled out his batarangs. "Why, Batsie! Who knew you wanted to play!" She giggled girlishly and did a few back flips before landing on a desk in the bank. She sat down and folded her legs over each other before looking at Batman. "Boys, what do you think? Should we do things the easy way? Or the Bat's way?" She asked, looking at the men in front of her. Some of them looked at her a bit oddly before some of them charged at the Batman. Pandora tilted her head to the side before looking down at the three cowards that stayed behind. "Interesting," she murmured, mentally logging away to punish these three for not charging with the others. These chickens wouldn't make it far in Pandora's book if they didn't act as though pain meant nothing and that Batman wasn't a fear. They should fear her more than the Bat, but alas, they hadn't gotten that far in their thinking just yet.

He prepared himself for an attack, but oddly enough it never came. Instead Pandora flipped on by him to the bank inside. When he heard her plop down on one of the desk, he turned his head to the side, and looked at her out of the corner of his eye. Then three of her goons rushed at him instead of shoot at him. That was a mistake.
Using the tear gas pellets he had slipped from his utility belt, he threw them at the closest goon coming at him. All three pellets exploded against his chest and immediately he stopped charging. He watched as the thug fell to the ground choking and coughing.
The other two continued to charge instead of turn and run. That was another mistake. Rushing at them himself, he soared into the air, and drove both his knees into one of the goon’s face. Landing back down to the ground in a crouching position, Batman pulled a bolas from his utility belt, and threw it to the other criminal who was still running.
Standing up, Batman turned around in time to see the large man he had snared with his bolas crash to the ground, and slide across the floor to the desk where Pandora was sitting idly by. Satisfied that two of Pandora’s goons weren’t going anywhere, he turned his gaze back to the other three who were watching everything unfold. Taking a step towards them, the three men began to visibly become afraid, but managed to overcome their fear enough to raise their submachine guns towards him.
Firing at him, Batman ran through the heavy rain for cover. As he had predicted, the goons were horrible shots, and none of them even managed to come close to him with their bullets. Gaining cover behind the armored van, he waited patiently as the goons unloaded their magazines. Once the gunfire stopped, and all that was left was the pouring rain, Batman ran out from behind the van towards the goons.
“I really hate guns,”[/b][/I] he said angrily as the panicked thugs tried to reload their weapons before he reached them.

Selena watched with no shock or horror as Batman easily disassembled the goons who ran at him, like they were supposed to. She cringed a bit when Batman used tear gas on the closest goon and shook her head. Something else she'd need to prepare the idiots for. She was making a mental list in her head as she watched the goons in front of her get their asses kicked. She shook her head, clearly ashamed before she looked at the group who was in front of her. She watched as the Batman soared through the air at one point and drove both his knees into one of her goon's skulls. She shook her head sadly, ashamed of what was going on in front of her. She needed to teach these idiots a lesson before her father rolled over in his grave, cursing her. She watched as one of her goons crashed to the ground and slid in front of her. She shook her head and jumped down, landing on top of him. She ignored him as he gasped for breath and stepped down. She looked at the Batman a moment before seeing the other three finally move into action.
Of course, Selena knew the guns wouldn't work on him and looked ashamedly as the men shot at him. She sighed heavily as she watched the Batman run across the bank. She watched as he ran through the bullets for cover and shook her head. None of these idiots knew how to shoot. She would need to give some of them pointers or train the next set of idiots to not be...well...idiots. Selena paused a moment as she saw Batman hide behind the van. "For the love of hell," Selena muttered as she heard the goons continue to shoot at the van. "ARE YOU ALL STUPID?!" Selena screamed angrily as they ran out of bullets. "Lucifer, send me goons," she muttered bitterly as she waited for Batman to come out from behind the truck and he did of course. He then spoke in raspy, somewhat sexy voice as he ran towards Selena's goons, who were trying to reload their weapons. "Idiots..."

Internally Thomas was grinning. On the outside, he was all business. The fact that Pandora was becoming frustrated and upset was a good sign. It meant she would make mistakes, mistakes he would capitalize on.
As he approached the closest of Pandora’s goons, he saw watched in delight as the man dropped his magazine in panic, but before he could turn and run the Batman was already close enough to make sure he wasn’t going anywhere but sleepytown. Leaping into the air, Batman kicked the man in face as he soared over him as the goon stumbled back. Spinning mid-flight, Batman brought his fists together, and slammed them down on the goon.
The second goon had given up trying to reload his weapon and instead used it to bash the Dark Knight over the back of the head with. Letting out a grunt, Thomas stumbled forward a couple steps before turning around to see the goon rushing at him again with the submachine gun held up high. Before he could bring it down on the Batman’s head however, his face met the heel of Batman’s boot as it was driven hard into his face.
Pandora’s last remaining goon however did manage to reload his weapon and when Thomas heard the slap of the magazine being loaded in, he knew he had to move fast. At the distance he was at, there was no way he would be able to move fast enough to escape the barrage of bullets that the thug could pump out. So he reached into his utility belt and pulled out a batarang that he threw as quickly as he could at the goon who raised his weapon at him. The batarang hit the man square in the shoulder and proceeded to run enough electrical current through his body to knock him out for a good couple of hours.
Turning back towards the bank, the Batman then glared at Pandora, and narrowed his eyes. “Is that all you got Pandora?”[/b][/i]

Pandora couldn't help the irritated sigh that escaped her lips as she watched as her goons had their asses handed to them on a golden platter by the Batman. She shook her head and felt like beating each of those goons with sticks...sticks of dynamite. They were all stupid and idiotic and Pandora began to wonder why she even kept getting goons. They were obviously a waste of time and energy. Where had her father's era of goons gone? You know, the ones who listened to you when you gave them an order and feared you more than that damned man in the rubber bat suit. Pandora wished her father was still here, but she supposed she'd survive of course. There was nothing worst than having to face this bat alone sometimes, but Pandora did well, at least in her mind. Sometimes Pandora didn't do so well, but she figured her father would accept it. After all, half of the time he didn't do so well either, but he never spoke of his failures. He spoke of every decision he made as a success, no matter what, well, until one of his goons failed him, of course. Then all hell broke loose on Chuckles Inc.
When Batman had finally dispatched of all of her goons, Pandora looked at the Batman and grinned. He turned to her, his eyes narrowed and she giggled. "That's all they've got, Batsie. You know that I'm much more intelligent than those other idiots," she said, motioning towards the man who was still twitching from electrocution. "Besides, you should know by now that I'm anything but the giving up type," she said, winking at him playfully. She shoved her hands into her pockets lazily. Pandora wasn't one to just leap into a fight and Batman knew that. Or at least he should seeing as how many times they had fought one another. They were like the original Batman and the Joker. They fought constantly, but Pandora always threw in a bit of flirting, like when she was fighting with Nightwing. Mmm, Nightwing. Pandora did love flirting with him, but she also enjoyed flirting with the Bat every once in a while. Why? She wanted to see if it would phase him at all. For a while, it didn't, but she thought that after a bit, he'd start reading in to it, like most people did.

It was true. The last thing he had expected Pandora to do was to just willingly allow herself to be apprehended. Like the man who taught her everything she knew about crime, Pandora was always one for having a trick or two up her sleeve. Just last month she had surprised him by using several pellets of weird green colored tear gas that caught him off guard to give her enough time to get away. His least favorite was the rocket launcher she used on him while he was chasing her down on his batcycle.
So here they were again like they always were. He was ready to arrest her and she was just waiting to unleash some new secret escape plan. The fact that she was as skilled an acrobat as his mother was back in the day certainly didn’t make things easier for him either to arrest her.
“Yes, I’m more than well aware of your intelligence,”[/b][/I] he said as he took a couple slow steps forward. “That’s why I also know you have secret escape plan. And seeing as how there is no way for you to fit a rocket launcher up your short skirt, you are not escaping this time.”[/b][/i]

Selena giggled happily as she watched Batman take a few steps towards her. She tilted her head to the side at him when he spoke. She put her hand in front of her face like she was blushing. "Oh, stop it, Batsie! You're flattering me," she giggled before hearing his words once again. She grinned gleefully and giggled. "So you noticed that my skirt is shorter than usual! How nice of you, Batsie!" She giggled and moved closer to him, but not close enough to where he could capture her or spring in to action. "You know I was kind of hoping I'd run in to you tonight." She giggled softly. "That's why I wore it!" She said happily before she stood up straight and turned away from him, skirt twirling as well. She then jumped up on the desk once again and crossed her legs. She rested her hands on either side of her. "So, Batsie, how do you plan on capturing me?" She asked, head tilted to the side curiously. A slow, flirty smile formed on her face as she sat there, waiting for his response.
Selena did have a few techniques to get away hidden up her sleeves. Of course, they were not ways that the Batman had ever seen before. This was all new, all Selena and she was proud of her creation and concoction. She had modified it herself and had used it on a few of the goons. It seemed to work quite well. She was excited to see if it would affect the Batman or not. Of course, she didn't think that her bazooka would do too much good, but it had done enough, which she was quite thankful for. Without that bazooka that Bat probably would have kept going after her and she had been running out of ideas an goons to throw at him...literally. She had pushed several goons out of the back of a moving truck to get the idiot off of her tail. Of course, now Selena had no goons and there wasn't anyone in the bank so it was just her and the Bat. She'd wait for now, but in the end, she knew she'd have to do something about it.

As much as he hated to admit, Pandora was an attractive woman, albeit a crazy one as well. Which always seemed to be the story of his life. It seemed all the women in life, aside from family, were crazy in one way or another.
When she said that she had hoped to run into him, his brain went into overdrive. If she had hoped to run into him then it meant that she had a plan up her sleeve that she wanted to try. Something that he had probably never seen before and thus wouldn’t be ready for it. Hopefully he would be able to prove her wrong, but Pandora was a crafty one.
“So what is the deal Pandora?”[/b][/I] He asked as he took a couple more steps towards her. “We both know you’re not my type. I don’t like my women crazy and certainly don’t like them being criminals.”[/b][/I]
“Where the hell are the Gotham PD? Even if she hacked and disabled bank security, the explosion itself should have been enough for someone to call the whole thing in. So where the hell were they?”[/I]
Reaching into his utility belt as he got closer, he pulled out a pair of batcuffs, and held them up as his answer for how he planned to arrest her. Of course he knew there was going to be no way that she was just going to let him stroll up and just slap them on her.
“I figured this would be a start.”[/b][/I]

Pandora tilted her head to the side playfully and smiled at him coyly when he asked what the deal was. He then said that she wasn't his type and she pouted cutely. "Don't like crazy women? Oh, silly Batsie! We both know you love crazy women!" She said with a happy, high pitched giggle. She then blinked a moment. "But...you don't like...my kind of crazy," she said, her eyes getting watery. "What's wrong with my kind of crazy? I can make you laugh, you know," she said, sniffling a little. She twirled some of her hair around her finger as she pouted at him cutely with her eyes on the verge of allowing tears to pour out before she saw him move closer to her, putting his hand against his utility belt. She watched as he pulled out his batcuffs and sighed, pushing her tears back like they were nothing before she tilted her head at him playfully. She grinned coyly upon hearing his words. "Oh, Batsie, I didn't know you liked to play that way," she said with a flirty wink before she giggled once more.
It was then that Pandora sprang into action. She pushed off of the desk and back flipped over it before she landed securely on her feet. She pulled a gun out from insider of her purple jacket and smiled at him. "Think of another start, Batsie. I don't like being chained up," she said, her smile turning in to a smirk as she looked at him. The gun wasn't a real gun of course, well, a real gun that shot bullets. This gun shot something else completely. She tilted her head to the side and grinned maniacally at the Batman. "You know, Batsie, I have something to show you," she said, feeling rather coy and creative. Inside this gun was some of Harrower's goo that he had given her. She grinned playfully at him before she looked at one of her goons and shot him with it. The goo shot from the gun and landed on the man's face. Once there, it began to slowly stretch his face into a sick, twisted smile, ripping the skin, making the man scream. Pandora cackled gleefully. "It's wonderful, isn't it?" She asked him, eyes shinning.

When she continued on with her flirty attitude, he rolled his eyes from under his cowl. If Pandora wasn’t such a crazy, psychotic criminal he’d probably be attracted to her. He became all serious however when she sprang up from the desk and pulled a gun from her jacket. Immediately he took a defensive stance that would allow him to move quickly once she opened fire at him.
When she fired it however, he was greatly surprised. Not that she shot one of her goons, that was a common occurrence for her, but more so what it had done to the man. When he had first taken over the mantle of the Batman after his father’s death, Alfred had given him all the password information for his father’s computer systems in the Batcave. After he had taken care of Hush, the next person in line that he had researched was the Joker. He remembered reading about the Joker’s Venom and from what he say, this stuff would make the Joker cringe.
“Interesting new toy you have,”[/b][/I] he said as he knelt down beside her goon who had passed away from bleeding out.
It was a horrible way to die, but to Pandora he was just some expendable thug who was only good for stalling him long enough for her to either work out a plan of escape or put into motion.
“You’re a sadistic woman Pandora and I’m putting you back into Arkham”[/b][/i]

Pandora saw him roll his eyes and pouted at him cutely before she saw him take his defensive stance when she pulled out her pistol. She watched with sick satisfaction as Harrower's black goop covered the man's face and made his skin stretch and rip so he was smiling. His screams had been muffled by the goo and soon he passed out from the pain. Pandora heard Batman's statement as he knelt down next to dying goon, probably thinking about how sick, sadistic, and cruel she was. Not that she minded. She knew her father would indeed be proud of her, even if this probably would make him cringe a little, he'd get over it and tell her what a fantastic job she was doing. "I know, Batsie, isn't it the greatest?! Don't you think Daddy would be proud?" She asked, giggling happily before hearing his words. She smiled. "I know! Daddy trained me well, didn't he?" she said as she stood there before hearing that he was going to put her back in Gotham.
Pandora giggled gleefully. "Put me back in Arkham? Oh Batsie, didn't you know I destroyed Arkham just a few days ago?! I doubt they'd rebuild it that fast, unless of course, someone extremely rich gave them money and more man power." She giggled happily and shook her head before sighing. She looked up at the Batman, her head tilted to the side as she readied herself to spring into action to get away from him. She knew he would try and be sneaky and try something, but she wasn't sure what, exactly, he'd try so she needed to be ready for anything and everything. Plus, she did have Harrower's goo inside of this amazing little pistol that she had once put Joker's Venom in, which did something much worse than make the person's face rip open into the form of a smile, but only the Batman had really seen what it had done. Well, the Batman and anyone who worked on the body after Pandora was done with it.

“Your ‘daddy’ was a sick, demented freak who is where he belongs,”[/b][/I] he retorted.
Standing up from the body, he kept his gaze on the pool of blood that started forming around the man’s head before turning to her when she mentioned destroying Arkham. Arkham was always being destroyed and rebuilt, ever since the days of his father Arkham was always having issues with it’s inmates keeping the place intact while they were both inside and on their way out. This time Arkham was worse for ware, but it was nothing they hadn’t dealt with before. And if he brought Pandora to them, he knew they would be more than happy to accommodate her.
“And don’t worry about Arkham Pandora. I’ll make sure they’ll have a cell for you, even if I have to build it brick by brick myself,”[/b][/I] he turned his eyes on Pandora and clenched his fists. “Now you know that I don’t want to hurt you Pandora, but you know that if you force my hand I won’t have a problem doing what I have to do. So what road do you want to take?”[/b][/I]
He really wasn’t one for hitting women, he had before when they had forced his hand and he had to defend himself, but it wasn’t something he enjoyed. During all of his encounters with Pandora he had always try to subdue her without force, but now that she had a new toy that she knew he had no defence for he might have to do something he didn’t want to.
