Bad Vibes (Batman/Vanessa)

Turning her towards him, he wrapped his arms around her, and held her close. He may not of understood or knew just what was going on inside her, but he did understand the pain. Years ago she lost her mother violently and know she had lost her father. And when it came down to it, she was now alone without a family thanks to him.

As he stood there with his arms around her, he really didn’t know what to say, and after a few moments he stepped back away from. Letting his cape drape over him, he turned his eyes on the door of the shack which had been crowded by onlookers. Once his gaze met them though, they quickly backed away from the doorway.

“We need to go Vanessa,”[/b][/I] he said softly as he turned his attention back to her.

As she felt Batmans arms wrap around her Vanessa turned into him, her cheek resting against his chest as she continued to sob. Everything she'd ever hoped for in her future had just been slaughtered. The only thing keeping her from crumbling completely were the arms that surrounded her. She heard the soft voice of the Batman telling them they had to leave and she nodded. Suddenly she didn’t care where she went or what happened to her. She just wanted to curl up and die.
