Things were going great. So much more than better than he had expected it to go. He had been holding off opening a club in the States, but after seeing the turn out he was certainly glad that he did. He had to admit, it was glad that he returned to Long Beach to open his first club in North America. He just hoped that the club continued to boom like tonight in the future. He wanted Californication to be the biggest club in the state.
Dressed in his grey Gucci suit and black Armani shirt, he stood by the bar sipping on his Bacardi and Coke, and looking over his freshly opened club. Looking around with a grin, Alex was sure that he captured essence of California in his club, especially with the bikini clad women dancing in cages that flanked the stage where the hottest DJ in the world was spinning out tracks.
As the song was coming to an end, Alex finished off the rest of his of his drink, and made his way over to the stage. Stepping up beside the DJ, he gave the woman a wink before grabbing the microphone. When the song finally ended, he stepped forward on the stage.
“Everyone having a good time tonight?”[/b] He yelled into the microphone. He wasn’t surprised that everyone cheered and clapped their hands. It was obvious that they were having fun and enjoying themselves. “That’s what I like to hear. So in the spirit of Christmas I just want to say that for the rest of the night, drinks are on the house! So you guys have got three hours to enjoy. Merry Christmas Long Beach! Now let’s get this party going.”[/b]
The clubgoers were yelling so loud that when the DJ went back to playing her music, it couldn’t be heard of the crowd. It took a few minutes for everyone to calm down before the music could be heard again, but that was a good thing. Stepping down on stage with a smile on his face, he looked at the dancer in the cage beside him, and flashed her a coy grin. If had been paying attention to where he was going, he wouldn’t have bumped into his patron who was walking past.
“Oh. My bad. I’m sorry,”[/b] he said looking at the customer he bumped into.
