Melody's door was open and she sat on her bed. A quick look in her room would show something that wouldn't surprise anyone. It was very, very western themed. Right down to the cow boy hats on the walls, various sets of cowboy boots by the door and cattle skull she used to hang her coat on. She sat on her bed, her fiddle in her hands playing an almost heart breaking song. She'd been gone for a week or so and had finally made it back. Where she went not many people actually knew as she didn't tell anyone. Those who knew had managed to ask her where she'd gone off to.
The tones from her sad song floated through the halls till they filled the Tower itself. She knew it was only a matter of time before someone came to talk to her. WHo it'd be she didn't know nor care. She'd said she wanted to be alone but that was a lie. She needed someone to talk to but was too shy and sad to actually try and seek someone out.

Cam had been sitting in his room, a quite interesting looking room; it was sort of Grunger meets the Catwalk. He was sitting on his bed strumming his guitar when he heard the fiddle; he got up putting his guitar to one side and followed the melody. It did not take him long to find the source of the melody. He looked at her and listened in with a faint smile on his lips.
He took in the beauty that was in front of him, and he was not just talking about the song that was being played. He never told her this, but in the short time he had known Melody he had gotten a bit of a thing for her. It was strange really, if it was just a girl he just wanted to fuck he would have her in his bed before she knew what hit her, but with Melody, well, it was a different story. It was not like he was just wanted to sleep with her, he wanted, well, he was to go out with her, you know like a couple. This was a playing field completely new to Cam. After a short while he finally spoke up,
"’Ey darlin’.”

With a very unbeautiful screech the bow was pulled from the fiddle as she looked up. She set the fiddle and bow down and looked up with a slight smile. But the smile didn't quite reach her eyes. Hey eyes held only saddness. Although the reason for the sadness was unknown to her team mates, along with her disappearance.
"Hey Cam...."
She said with a slightly nervous smile. Why she was nervous she didn't know. Her and Cam got along. Hell, she trained him in and gave him his test. Sure he was cute, but so were a lot of guys. It was weird, you never saw an ugly hero, or villain for that matter. With the exception of Killer Croc and Toad.
"Did I disturb you?"

Cam cringed slightly when the fiddle stopped. He shook his head and used one of his fingers to help stop the ringing in his ear. He noticed the sadness in her eyes, but was it his place to ask, he did not know, he was never that good with the whole emotional support thing. He smiled back before speaking,
“Not at all, ‘eard d’a fiddle ‘n’ hoped it might be you, aint seen y’a in a while.”
With that he walked up to her and sat down, he hoped she did not mind this intrusion, but, even though he was not good at the whole emotional support thing he still wanted to be there for her, even if he did not know what he was there to support her with. He looked at her and smiled a bit more,
“So, w’at’s up?”

"Yup, it's me."
She said nodding her head. After all no one else really played the fiddle. Sure Astra occasionally played the guitar and it was possible Cam did too, she wasn't sure. Either way he had guitarist's hands. It was then she caught herself staring almost intently at his hands. What would they feel like against her skin? She quickly shook that thought from her head. No, Cam was a playboy. Not like some, but still he had a reputation and that wasn't her at all. As he sat down she scooted away from him a bit and began to look down at her fiddle, acting like she was tuning it.
"Not...not much. Just been busy the last few weeks or so....."
