"I am lucky my mom is still around to teach me. She in turn had the other members of the X-men and Professor Xavier to teach her. I believe my father was taught by his uncle so it is a family thing for me," Rain explained. There were somethings that she forgot that people outside the X-men families and Wakanda did not know about her past.
"An alarm," she told Nate. There was a pop as another person appeared. Rain told to the young man. "Steve, I need you to take charge of the kids," Rain told him. He crossed his arms and glared at her. "There is an silent alarm going off," Rain told him. Steve looked at her and sighed rolling his eyes.
"Go, and be careful!" he told her before disappearing with a pop.
"If you want to help, I can fly you there," she told Nate. She did not trust him but, if he went with her Rain knew she could keep him an eye on him.

'Not very silent if she can hear it.'
He heard Sha'do say and couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He shook his head though and turned his attention back to Rain. He probably should try and redeem himself. Although he was a bit of a scholar as opposed to a fighter, but that didn't mean he wasn't trained. His father and mother both taught him how to fight, he just had to try and remember it.
'Just let me do the work. You know this thing goes both ways. I get your knowledge and skills and you get some of mine.'
"Fine, but no killing."
He mumbled before realizing her senses. He smiled and nodded his head to her.
"Sure, fly me away. Luckily I got over that pesky fear of heights."
He said with a very awkward laugh. All he had to do was remember he couldn't be killed and focus on actually helping.

Rain looked at Nate when he chuckled and shook her head figuring it was probably better she did not know. She just hope he was not someone who would scheme to take over the world. She had heard and knew enough of those people. She raised an eyebrow when he spoke. "Killing, should be avoided as much as possible," she told him when she heard him mumble about no killing.
"If you want I can keep you low to the ground," she told him as the wind picked up. The wind picked them both up into the air and Rain stretched out riding the wind higher as the wind kept Nate a little closer to the ground. She had only little practice carrying someone else with the win but, knew she could do it.

"Agreed."
'You two are no fun.'
Nate shook his head and readied himself before being lifted into the air. He looked around as he flew, enjoying the feel of the wind whipping around him. Although it was a little new to him, luckily he was used to weird.
"You can bring me up higher!"
He yelled over the wind as the two of them moved along the street toward the alarm Rain had picked up. He kept one hand on his wrist, not wanting the wind to move his shirt sleeve up and reveal his bracer. That would only cause more problems. Especially if she found out how he came by it. She'd probably turn him into the police and in turn the BPRD would get him. He shook his head, thinking of the fugitive life he was now living thanks to curiosity and the prince.

"Just remember you asked to go higher," Rain yelled back. As she raised him higher into the air. Rain raised him till he was almost on the same hieght as she was flying. It did not take her long before she was lowering them both towards the ground. They landed in front of a bank that was being held up.
Rain gentle landed after lowering Nate to the ground. She had located the source of the alarm. She got there and growled when she caught the scent of the robbers. She did not like how they smelled and for some reason they smelled a little familiar to her.

"Well, what's the plan?"
He asked with a raised eyebrow as he sized up the situation. He could feel Sha'do itching to get out and go take over. But Nate wouldn't let that happen. Sha'do was nuts and would end up killing anyone from the criminals to the hostages.
'I don't know if I'd kill ALL of them...'
Nate shook his head before waiting for the plan from her. He was a scholar, not even that well trained in being a tactician. Sure he knew a few bits and pieces here and there but in general he went with what other, more trained people, said. And he already knew she had a hell of a lot more combat training then him.
'Bet she doesn't have more than me.'

Rain shape shifted so her face was more feline. Her eyes became cat ears and she grew whiskers. Rain closed her eyes and tilted her head back taking a deep breath and her ears were both pointed at the building. She attuned into what was coming out the building. "Not again," Rain stated quietly groaning.
Rain shifted so she her hands were a mix of paws and hands. She grew a long black tail that was twitching steadily. Any fur she was showing was all black. "I suggest that you stay back, I have dealt with this group before," Rain pointed out. There was a rumble of thunder as clouds began to form. "Enough!" Rain shouted toward the group. "This has gone on long enough! Your cult has brought nothing but pain and suffering!" Rain shouted standing tall and defiant.

Nate looked at her curiously before shrugging. Apparently she knew who they were Nate himself had no clue what was going on. He examined the situation, trying to figure out what was going on and what he could do to help.
"Cult?"
'Cult?'
The two of them said at the same time. Nate began to move around her, drawn to a darker patch of the street hidden by shadows. It seemed as though he was drawn to it like a moth to flame. Although in reality it was Sha'do taking over Nate's body so he could get out. Sha'do wanted to have some fun and would do so, no matter what.

"Ah, the cat child. Been a long time," one of the man stated sauntering out. He was dressed in an all black suit and had a bullet proof vest on.
"Not long enough," Rain growled. Her tail was twitching like mad showing her aggravation. "Last time we meet you tried using me for your own gain. You think that Bast will make you guys reach if prove your might to her. Let me tell you something, my people know Bast, my father and mother have both been face to face to Bast. What you do in Bast name is not what Bast wants!" Rain growled at the man.
"I suggest you watch your tongue child. Or do you forget what we did to your pet?" the man asked. Rain let out a roar as thunder clashed in the sky. Rain's feline mind started to take over and she shifted full panther and looked ready to pounce on the man.

Before Nate knew what was happening Sha'do had taken over. He gave a stretch before watching the exchange between Rain and the apparent leader of the cult. A smirk crossed his lips as he watched then, his mind racing with ideas.
"Sorry Nate, but I want to have my fun."
Sha'do whistled and two large sabretooth tigers made out of pure shadow emerged and rushed towards the cult. A loud roar pierced the slowly escalating tension as Sha'do slowly walked over, sticking to the shadows.
"I can see the two of you have a history. I personally don't give a damn what she did or you did in whatever annoying deity's name. I'm here for my own reasons. I need followers, you can choose to follow me or be forced to. Your decision."
He said looking back and forth between the cult and Rain.

Rain let a full roar and pounced on the man. Her feline side saw the man as a threat to her and anyone she cared for. Her fur was standing on end. She attacked with claws out and teeth bared. It was a side that not many had seen from Rain. The storm continued to grow above them.
Rain scratched the man across the face causing blood to sprout out. Rain roared and swiped at the man again this time across the man's chest. Rain growled at Nate when he stated they could follow him. Seeing that the man she was on top would not be in fighting shaped she got off him and turned toward Nate growling at him.

Sha'do simply laughed as Rain mauled the man. Meanwhile his cat creatures began to circle the other men. Sha'do drew his sword and seemed to ignore Rain's growling. He twirled the sword as he walked towards the rest of the men. He slashed out at one man, his sword plunging right into his chest. However no blood came out, and yet the man fell dead. The blade of the sword glowing as he looked straight at Rain. With a snap of his fingers the once dead man rose and set his sights on the other men, attacking them.
"I always was a cat person and you would make an excellent pet."
He said with a smirk as he trained his sword on her. He needed to begin amassing an army if he was going to recreate his realm on this planet he'd need an army.

Rain's ears flattened and Rain started to back away from Nate. She heard his comment about turning her into a pet. Her tail went straight into the air and she turned sideways arching her back. She hissed at Nate knowing that she was in trouble. Lightening came down between, it was enough to temporary blind someone who had been looking in the direction the lightening would be temporary blind.
When the lightening came down a ripple effect passed over Rain as she switched from panther to Cheetah. The Cheetah was not as strong or heavy as the panther but, it was the fastest cat when it sprinted. With Nate having the sword and Rain with no weapons besides her powers and her feline mind in control leaving was the word of the day. With a twitch of a tail the rain started pouring and Rain was off racing down the street with all her Cheetah speed.

Sha'do covered his eyes when the lightning hit. Partially because it was so bright but primarily because it was light. He heard his eyes sizzle as it hit and quickly focused on healing them as best he could. When he opened his eyes they noticed it was blurry for a bit before coming into focus. Now Sha'do was pissed, really pissed.
'Just let her go.'
"Shut up, coward."
He pointed his hand and began to fire shadow energy towards her which of course missed. He then disappeared into a shadow and began to chase her, teleporting from shadow to shadow and firing as he did so.

Rain was running scared she was not sure what Nate was but, she knew she had get away. Lightening started blasting the street as she ran in a zig zag pattern down the street. She started slowing due to having reach the limit a Cheetah could sprint. Rain gained enough control over her feline mind to revert to human.
She hastily summoned a strong wind that roared down the street causing young trees to bend and threatened to break older trees. The wind whisked her into the air quickly and within moments she was higher then most buildings. It was only then she came to a hover looking down at the street. She was high enough she would barely be able to see if he was there.
