He watched as she begin to lift into the air, all the while having been avoiding the lightning and trying to hurl shadow energy at her. He teleported to the roof of a tall building near by and looked up at her.
"What's wrong kitty, don't want to play?"
He asked with a sinister laugh before throwing a couple more blasts at her. They weren't meant to hit her, just test her maneuverability in the air. Of course if they did like most of his attacks it would hit her soul directly. But these smaller ones would just damage her soul, not kill her like he usually did. He was enjoying chasing her too much.
'Let her go Sha'do!'
"Oh shut up you sissy."

Rain growled when Nate taunted her about not wanting to play. She was getting worried that Nate had too many tricks up his sleeve. Before he just seemed like a normal guy now, he seemed to have powers that Rain did not want to mess with.
Rain dodged the attacks easily and flew higher in the air as fog stated to form hiding Rain from view. The fog quickly became a pea soup constantly and made it all but impossible to see anything. The fog got thinner the lower it was though so Nate would be able to see the rooftops near him. The effort to create and maintain the fog was taking its toll on Rain.

"Ah, I'd like to have a pet that can control the weather. So many uses for you. I can use you to fight and then give your body to Nate so maybe he would finally man up."
Sha'do said laughing and shaking his head.
'You're sick Sha'do.'
"Don't make me come in there."
Sha'do couldn't help but laugh. Because as Rain made it foggy and cloudy she gave him more places to go. He held his hands together and soon a massive ball of black energy began to form in his hands. He then fired it straight up to where he thought she might be. The shadow energy cutting right through the fog as best it could.

Rain turned in direction and started to fly Westward when Nate shot the ball of black energy up into the fog. The fog was slowly clearing despite Rain's best effort to keep the fog around her. Rain knowing her best chance now was speed concentrated on creating a strong wind letting the fog dissipate.
Rain knew the safest place in the city for her was the Wakanda Embassy. Rain was making a beeline for the Embassy knowing that would be the safest place for her. She started losing altitude as she tried to make it to the embassy.

Sha'do just laughed the whole time still teleporting behind her and firing energy blasts at her. It was obvious he wasn't even trying and was mostly just having fun with her.
"COWARD!"
'Run!'
"She can't hear you moron."
Blasts were whizzing by Rain, some even enough to ruffle her hair. But he was still trying to see what she was made of and so far he wasn't impressed. When she thought he was just a guy she was big and bad. But when she saw even a fraction of what he could do she turned tail and ran, not very impressive.

Rain felt and saw the blast whizzed by her and she was getting angry. Adrenaline was pumping through her. After a particular close energy ball whizzed by her. Rain stopped mid-air and turned toward Nate. She stared at him piercing him with his glare.
Rain raised both hands and pointed them straight at Nate. Out of her hands a lightning bolt leaped straight toward Nate. The lightening was not powerful to be deadly but, it would knock out a normal human. Rain waited to see if Nate was knocked out as the last of the fog dissipated.

When she stopped so did he and he began laughing. He could see the anger in her eyes and loved it. It was one of the many things he was good at it. Including killing, manipulation and other various dirty tactics.
"So does this mean you've changed your mind then? Good, now come and kneel before your your prince, Prince Sha'do!"
He said laughing. But in his arrogance he hadn't been paying attention and the two bolts caught him dead in the chest. Between that and the fact they were light sent him flying back and knocking him unconscious. As the fog disipated Sha'do shifted back into Nate with a burnt hole in his shirt. However due to the spear of Destiny he soon sat up and rubbed his chest.
"I'm so sorry, are you ok?"
He asked looking up at her.

"You shot balls of dark energy at me then ask me if I am ok? I think you better hope that you never see me again or anyone from my embassy anytime in next ten years. If you do you may not survive to see the next day," Rain told him with a cold voice.
With that she turned and flew away. She landed at the Embassy and alerted the security team to be on the alert for Nate. Rain suspected that Nate may try to follow her. Once security was alerted Rain curled up in bed and soon was sleeping soundly.

"It wasn't me that did that!"
He yelled after her. He pulled himself up, absent mindedly rubbing his chest as he did so. He knew now he had to get going and hope his books and what not were still in the same spot. Although they probably weren't. And apparently she hadn't noticed his physical change into Sha'do.
"Great, he cost me another possible friend."
He said shaking his head as he headed back to the park.
