"I never said you did not did I?" Rain asked with a chuckle. "Agreed," Rain said when Wyld said enough politics. Rain chuckled when Wyld said her mom was a good judge of some things. "I never said my mom hated you," Rain pointed out. "She has reserved judgment on you for the most part," Rain told him.
"She may of come off as cold to you but, you were also usually near your mother and our mothers do have a nasty history," Rain pointed out. It was well known that Lilith and Ororo had clashed. Mostly over Lilith taking over Kitty Pryde when Kitty was still new to the X-men.
A man greeted them as they entered. "Ah, Princess Rain, welcome," he told them. "Your mother visits us often when she is in town. I hope you also enjoy our food," he tells her with a genuine smile.
"I am sure I will," she answers.

"Yeah, I know about their history. But I can't help but feel like what my grandfather did has issues with that as well. Not to mention the drinking of blood. You figure most people would get over that."
He said with a shrug. Of course he was aware of their history. Part of the reason anytime his mom was around, which was frequently, they were each watched carefully.
"Just know there's more to that then a simple case of possession."
He said nodding his head. He listened to the spiel the man said and rolled his eyes. He nodded his head to the man as the two of them were led to a table.
"Hmm, too bad my lineage isn't as well respected."
He said laughing. Despite all the craziness in the last decade vampires were still partially believed to be a myth. He sat down at the table and stretched before looking over at Rain.
"Whoops. I suppose there's certain protocols I have to follow when dining with a Princess...."

Rain chuckled when he pointed out what his grandfather may have something to do with it to. "My mother is more likely to take insult for something that happens to someone close to her then is done directly to her most off the time," Rain pointed out.
"I have heard, your mom took procession of Kitty so that she could destroy Dracula once and fore all. I was never told all the details though," Rain told him. Ororo had been sketchy on some details and Rain could never draw out of her mother.
"I think if people knew your lineage, you would be welcomed in less places," Rain pointed out. She said it seriously and her face showed her seriousness. "Like how mutants where treated back in the day."
Rain chuckled when Wyld said that certain protocols had to be followed when dining with a princess. "You there is a reason my favorite song is 'I wanna be like other girls'. I know I played that many times to the annoyance of other people," she pointed out with a smile.

"Ah yes, the details of my mother's never ending quest to kill my grandfather."
He said nodding his head. He figured he could trust her and tell her. Most people didn't know the details when it came to that never ending war.
"My mother can't die unless my grandfather's dead. She tried pretty hard back in the day. But after the Battle and my father died she became relentless in wanting to kill her father so she could die. Plus she also never really liked him. Only problem is for some reason she can never bring herself to do it."
He said with a shrug. He laughed a bit when she mentioned her favorite song and shook his head.
"Sorry Rain but that's not possible. No other woman is as incredibly beautiful as you. Sure some would argue your lineage is something too, but lineage don't contribute that much to who you are."

Rain leaned a little forward when Wyld stated telling about his mom's grudge against his grandfather. "Inter sting, so as long as your grandfather is alive your mother can never die? And your mother wants to die? That is inter sting bit of information," Rain told him.
Rain gave a non-princess like snort when Wyld said it was impossible for her to be like other girls. "Most see me as a princess first, and a person second it seems. If more people would see me as a person I would not mind it as much," Rain told him. She sat up straighter as she saw a waitress making her way over to them. She did not even notice she sat up straighter.

"Yeah, well originally she just wanted my grandfather dead. But ever since my dad, the one man she truly loved, died she's been wanting to die as well. Although on the other side if she's alive then I can't die. I suppose I inherited her ability, or curse. However you want to look at it."
He said with a shrug. The way she kept saying interesting was a little disconcerting. But he knew Rain was a good person and wouldn't try anything.
"Well I see you as a person. A really hot person who's lucky enough to have the company of a great guy like me, but still a person."
He figured that primarily came because he's known her since she was little. And sure even then it was evident she was a princess he didn't know. A child has no real concept of royalty she was just Rain, the girl who also grew up at Xavier's.

"Indeed, you know some people would want immortality thinking it would be great to live forever. I must admit in some ways I do feel sorry for your mother. I know my mother misses my father a lot but, is comforted by the fact one day they will be together again. I see why your mother would be mad about be unable to die and join your father," Rain told him.
Rain chuckled a little when Wyld stated that she was lucky enough to have his company. "You are one of the few who see me as a person first," Rain told him as the waitress arrived.
"Are you ready to order?" she asks them.

"Well of course I do, that's what you are."
He said with a smile. He glanced up at the server and nodded his head to Rain.
"Ladies first."
He said before leaning back. He already knew what he was going to order. He'd figured that out about an hour or so ago when the urge first hit him. Only problem that was around the same time that rock demon hit him. He had to look away from Rain because he found himself staring at her neck, among other parts.

Rain gave him a smile of thanks and a nod when Wyld stated that she of course was a woman. Rain glanced at the menu before deciding. "I would like the Alla Pesto with a Caesar Salad and with some apple juice, please," Rain told the waitress. Rain then placed the menu in easy reach for the waitress.
"You sir?" the waitress asked after writing down Rain's order.
Rain took one of the bread sticks sitting at the table and pulled it apart before eating half and placing half on a plate.

"Hmm, I will take your steak and spaghetti combo, very rare steak please. Umm and then just some milk for me to drink."
He said with a smile before handing her the menu. He leaned back a bit and sighed, a light sweat beginning to form.
"Sorry.....it's uh been awhile since I.....ya know."
He said wiping his forehead.
"Either that or you're just so hot I can't handle it. Naw, I mean you are hot but I'm sure can handle it."
He said with a laugh.

"As long as it is steak and not someone I am fine with it. My feline side on occasion gets the better of me and I find that I have a huge craving meat. Mom is a vegetation and most of the time I follow her example but, I do eat meat on occasion," Rain told him when Wyld said it had been awhile.
Rain shook her head when Wyld cracked his joke. "Good thing you are not Spider-man's son. That joke would been on his list of worst jokes if I remember correctly. I think when I was little he told me some," Rain told Wyld. The waitress returned with their drinks. Rain ate more of her bread stick.

"Ok, bad idea to talk about it being someone."
He said absent mindedly licking his lips and trying to not look at her. Her neck seemed to be calling out to him. Of course she tried to compare it but it wasn't exactly what he went through. So she liked to eat meat, big deal. He enjoyed drinking human blood, huge difference.
"Hey, who said what I said was a joke. And Spider-Man's jokes were a hell of a lot worse."
He said with a slight laugh. He took a long drink of his water and sighed a bit before brushing some of his hair back.
"Or are you trying to tell me you're not beautiful and I couldn't handle you?"

The waitress returned with their drinks and placed them in front of them. "Your salad will be out in a moment," she tells Rain.
"Thank you," Rain responds. The waiter nods and leaves.
"It sounded like a joke and I did not hear a lot of Spider-man's so I would not know if they were truly worse," Rain pointed out before taking a sip of her juice. "Just sounded worse then what I have been told about his jokes and the few I did hear. I was not saying either of those things," Rain told him.

"Ah good. So you're agreeing you are beautiful and I could handle you."
He said with a smile and nod of the head. He was doing his best to keep his mind off his thirst but it wasn't getting any easier. It seemed like each second that ticked by it intensified. And considering his usual targets looked like Rain that was making things tricky.
"So how long are you in town for?"
Danny asked with a smile and head nod.

"Only for a few days. The Institute is on vacation and I am helping take care of some of the kids. I was given the day off so I had time to enjoy myself though," Rain told him. "How about you? What you doing in town?" Rain asked in return.
Rain looked around and notice that almost no one was in the restaurant due to the time of night. "Wyld, remind me to leave a big tip. I think we are keeping them open after their normal hours," Rain pointed out. She preferred not being treated different because of her station in life.
