"Mom is doing good. It is has been a productive year agricultural wise and some new inventions are in the testing phase. So she is doing good there has been some talk about about possible new trade agreements with some European nations along with Japan. From what I hear her popularity is actually rising both at home and in other countries. The doctors also tell me that her health is good," Rain told him.
"Almost gave him the slip, if it had been basically anyone else I would of slipped away. He caught me before I did get away using his gifts from the panther god. Between the enhanced senses and agility he caught me," Rain informed Wyld.
"Thank you that would be most helpful," Rain told Wyld. Rain would feel more relaxed when she knew a dangerous man like Nate was in a secure place.

"Yeah, I've been hearing things about her all over the place. Seems everyone is a fan of Wakanda now. Although when they know everything the Black Panther did during the Battle and even before that it helps. People love super heroes."
He said laughing a bit. It was a proven fact, that at least since The Battle everyone liked superheroes. They were even getting their own movies. So far there were rumors about an Iron Man, Batman, old and new and an Avengers old and new movies. He actually was waiting for the New X movie but that would be tough to cast. Since every mutant and their mother would want to audition.
"Ah yes, the Panther God. Yeah, we cats are a great and god like species."
He said with a smirk before finishing off his steak before picking at the sides.
"Yeah, alright that's enough negative talk. Especially when I may have already told you too much."
He said laughing a bit.
"When ya heading back to Xavier's?"

Rain nodded sadly when Wyld mentioned her father. "He was one of the best it seems," Rain told him. Her eyes turned white and a light shower started outside. Rain rarely cried but, those close to her could tell when she was sad because of the weather.
"The panther god is real and exist on a different plane of reality similar to the astral plane that telepaths can access," Rain told him. Rain knew that anyone who wanted to be the Black Panther or to marry one had to face Bast and be judged by him.
"Knowledge is power. My father was a firm believer of that. He collected massive amounts of data on both heroes and villains. I believe mother has since taken charge of the files and has on occasion referenced it when needed. I am not sure what exactly it contains but, I know mom on occasion updates it. Especially the villain files," Rain told Wyld when he stated that he might of told her too much. "Well I am done with my meal shall we pay then?"
"I leave in a few days. It is Spring vacation for the younger students," Rain explained.

He noticed the rain, his senses picking up on the change in weather. He reached across and gently placed his hand on hers to try and help her.
"Both our fathers were incredible heroes."
He said with a smile. Those close to Danny knew he rarely spoke of his father. His father had started as an unlikely hero and had given his life in the Battle and used his powers to heal people.
"Oh I know he does. We've studied him through Wakandian legends."
He said with a smirk. It wasn't that unbelievable that the BPRD had studied the panther god to assess if there was any threat there, and luckily none was found. Any attempt to stop it would've resulted in a war that would've had many casualties.
"Hmm, so you don't know what my file contains then?"
He asked smirking a bit before taking a sip of his water.
"I'm sure it's extensive and goes into great detail how incredible I am."
He said with a laugh before nodding his head to her question. He grabbed his wallet and placed a black card on the table.
"Ah good so you're still around for a few days, good to know."

Rain gave him a sad smile when Wyld pointed out both of their fathers had been incredible heroes. Rain closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath regaining her inner peace the rain stopped and the clouds cleared letting the moon came back out.
Rain raised an eyebrow when Wyld stated he studied Bast in Wakanda legends. "How much do you know about him and our legends?" Rain asked him. She had tensed and became quite serious. her cat like eyes locked on him and her whole body leaned forward.
"No, I do not know what your file contains. Most likely what is public knowledge and then a little more. I am pretty sure it contains facts and my fathers opinion about how much of a threat you would be to national security. Other then that, just your past battles as far as I know," Rain explained. "He encrypted the information heavily and he took precautions to make sure that the files could not be hacked into," Rain assured him.
"I will mostly be with the children. Taking them to the sites and trying to keep them out of trouble," Rain pointed out. The waitress came over and took the credit card to ring them out.

"Well only what is general knowledge in terms of legends of Wakanda."
He said with a shrug.
"So probably less than you do. We just needed to know if he could be a possible threat. And as long as we stay on his good side we figured we're fine."
He said giving a slight laugh. He could tell she was nervous and he understood why. If she'd been studying his mother or grandfather he'd be concerned. No doubt those files contained information on both of them though. He had a new mission for the BPRD Tech team now. They just had to be careful of course.
"Public knowledge? Short file. Even the files at Xavier's have been 'scrubbed' for info about me. It just says who may parents are, their last known where abouts and what I can do. Part of the deal with signing on with the B......sanitation company I work for."
He knew that was a bullshit line, about where he worked. But as far as the US government was concerned he was merely a clerk for a sanitation company.
"Awww, I'd love to tag a long. Although with my....species...I can only go out at night."

Rain frowned a little when Wyld had said only they had general knowledge of Wakanda's legends. "When my mom was young almost nothing was known of Wakanda and now Wakanda is general knowledge. There are times were I think too much knowledge has become public knowledge," Rain pointed out.
"Like I said I do not know what it contains. I can smell when someone lies," she told him when he stated he worked for the sanitation company. "Besides I know already where you work. Even I did not I could find easily if I wanted to," Rain pointed out.
"We try to keep the activities limited to the day for the children. That way there are more likely to be well rested the next day and ready for more sight seeing," Rain told him. It was also was easier to keep track of the kids during the day.

"Well years ago it was the information age, so that caused information to flood the world. And that includes information on Wakanda and your Panther God. However we're still searching for more information. Hell we can get info on Latveria easier so you have that at least."
He said with a smile and nod of his head. She didn't like her country's knowledge being known to another government. He actually laughed when she said she could find info on BPRD if she wanted.
"Well unless you seduce it out of me, good luck. Even SHIELD doesn't know everything about us. Despite how many times we've come into contact."
He said, giving a slight laugh. He frowned a bit when she said they only go out during the day. That sucked too he wanted to join her, especially if Nate was possibly after her.
"Ah, so that means your nights are wide open then?"
He asked with a wink.

The waitress returned and set the credit card and receipt along with the paper for Wyld to sigh down before walking away again. Rain chuckled when Wyld said they could get information on Latveria then on Wakanda. "I wonder if some of that has to do with the fact that Dad left some back doors open after the whole Vibranium fiasco. Doom got close to destroying Wakanda then," Rain wondered aloud.
"SHIELD does not have feline senses and Wakanda tech. My father did a lot of information gathering in his day and many of those resources are available to me if I ever felt a need. Then again since they employed you, I do not feel a need. I would hope that if you found something that I needed to know you would let me know especially if it was life or death," Rain told him.
"I do have to sleep and the other chaperons deserve to have time for themselves. But, I think I can manage another night off before I leave," Rain told him.

Danny signed the slip, giving her a generous tip and pocketing the card before turning his attention back to her.
"Yeah, that no doubt helped us. If it hadn't been for him making the country so open we'd have to use other means to find out about you and your god."
He said with a smirk. He knew that between their spies and what not they could find out anything they wanted. Of course he was also smart enough to not tip Rain off reveal everything they know about Wakanda and their god. The last thing they needed was for Ororo to find out and consider it an act of war.
"Well telling someone personally what we find is out of the question. If it were a matter of national security we'd brief the leaders of all the teams, including New X. And if it were a matter of Wakandian security I would arrange a meeting with your mother."
He said sounding very official, which wasn't anything like him. But when it came to discussing his job he had no choice but to be.
"Ah good, another night off. I look forward to it."
He said with a smirk. He glanced over and noticed several cats sitting at the door meowing and all looking at Danny. He sighed and shook his head.
"That's getting annoying."

Rain only answer to Wyld's comment about finding information by other means was a light snort. "At least you would let us know if there was a problem. I may not be living in Wakanda but I try to keep tract of the going ons in Wakanda. I also try to help the leaders of New X with anything that comes along," Rain pointed out.
"I do not know what night it will be though," Rain pointed out.
She stood up and looked at the cats all meowing at Danny. "That happens often?" Rain asked him curiously when he states it was annoying. She studied the cats taking in their appearance, behavior and body language.

"Well yes, everyone know you're the second in command or something like that. Heck maybe you'll even move up to be in charge since I haven't heard anything about Rogue in quite awhile."
He said with a shrug before opening the door for Rain. The cats flooded in and began to circle around him.
"Well you have my number now and I'm up every night so there ya go."
He said with a smirk before following her out and onto the street.
"Yes, all the time actually. Although I'm not sure if it's part of my vampiric powers or my mutation since both are feasible. And I can't control it so it gets annoying. They always just show up, like they're waiting for me. Then again it's hard for most people to resist me too."

"I am also wondering where Rogue disappeared to," Rain told him quietly. She had not heard from Rogue in awhile and as far as Rain knew, no one else knew where she was either. Rain was starting to get worried about Rogue. Rain had tried to contact Rogue but no response.
"Could be a combination of both," Rain pointed out. "Mom told me that your Grandfather has summon feral dogs so with your cat mutation and vampire powers might be combining to attract the cats. Some are immune to your charms though," Rain pointed out. "Well I should head back to the hotel so I can be up when the children get up," Rain told him.

"Well you'd make a better leader anyways. Not to mention you're a lot better looking. Rogue's good and all but gets distracted anytime she works with the Avengers."
He said with a shrug as they walked. He honestly believed Rain was a better fit but Rogue had merely stepped up first. Plus no one could doubt her abilities and leadership skill.
"Well yeah, my mom could summon rats or something too. They're not entirely sure. But I have no control over them."
He said shrugging as they walked. He stopped in his tracks though when she said some were immune.
"Sweetheart, no one's immune to my charm. Especially someone who sometimes is more feline than human."
He said with a smirk. He often wondered if she'd ever pick up the fact he had a big crush on her or not. Although he had hinted several times, maybe she just wasn't that good at picking up hints.
"I suppose I'll let ya go then. Can't let the children wake up alone. I do have some work to do anyways..."

Rain raised an eyebrow when Wyld stated that she would make a better leader. Rain only smiled when Wyld said she was even better looking then Rogue. "We all have our quirks. I always just tried to make sure the team knew what they needed when working with the Avengers," Rain pointed out.
Rain nodded when Wyld stated his mom could summon rats then stated he had no control over them. "Who ever stated I was talking about myself?" Rain asked with a laugh. She knew Wyld had a crush on her but, she always thought of him as a good friend. "I hope you the best with your work, night!" Rain told him.
