Vanessa was worried, very worried. It was almost two in the morning, the light had been on since ten, and there was no sign of Batman. In the sky the signal for the vigilante shown bright, but it seemed that he didn't respond to the call of the Gotham PD as he once had.
With a frown, Vanessa bit her lower lip and glanced around nervously, even though she didnt see him, she knew Deadpool was nearby. She didn't know what was worse, the thought of Batman showing up and getting hurt, or the thought of him not showing and knowing that he really didn't want to have anything to do with her... not her, the gotham PD...

DeadPool was on a building near by waiting for the Man Bat to show up already. He was used to waiting, he did stack outs plenty of times, waiting in a building with a sniper, waiting for the right moment to shoot. But it seemed like Vanessa however wasn't, from where he was standing she looked worried. He then got an idea, he got some fire works that were in his pocket and placed them on the side of the building.
Waiting a bit he looked for a right place to jump, he wanted to get it right in the middle where the fire works were placed. Finding the right spot, he lit the fire works up waiting for them to shoot. As they shoot up making banging noise he jumped through them, sliding on his knees." Hello Gotham, This is DeadPool and he just landed perfectly, and the crowd goes wild 'DeadPool' DeadPool'." he said smiling.

Vanessa whirled around, jumping and looking scared. Then her eyes narrowed and she folded her arm, sitting on the edge. After he'd finished his little show she just shook her head.
"Brilliant, really brilliant. Now if he was going to show he wont now. Great, any other ideas?" She was being completely sarcastic, expecting he'd have something stupid to say and think he was being witty.

DeadPool looked to her with in a brow up, he'd think she would be a little bit happy to put some excitement back in her. "Well thanks Toots, for making me feel I did the show for nothing, then again I love doing it" he said smirking. He heard her say how the plan was ruined and if he had a back up plan.
"Of course I do, you see even if he doesn't trust you, he doesn't want me in his 'city' even though its a dump sugared with vomit..no offense" he said folding his arms. He then paced back and forth waging his finger around as he spoke, "you see he'll come, because I pose a threat to this..*cough* wonderful city".

Frowning she shrugged, "Its not my city." She said, "I was raised in New York, that's my city. I'm only here because of..." She stopped and shook her head, "Anyway, I can't let you do that Deadpool."
She stood up again, looking into his face and walking towards him. "You'll have to go through me."

"Listen Babe I'm not going to do anything to your lovely city here, I'm just gonna sit here and wait for the Bat guano to show" he said folding his arms smiling. He wasn't intending to hurt people who didn't have anything to do with his mission. Of course he didn't mind hurting people who got in his way but, he wasn't planning to do that to Vanessa.
He then walked to a corner of the building and sat on the edge of it twirling his gun in his fingers. " You know toots you need to relax, take a pill, have a seizure, and wake up feeling fresh" he mention while smiling.

Vanessa leaned against the wall and folded her arms, looking away from him. She didn't respond, but just hoped that the Batman would come and keep anything from happening to the city. After a moment she glanced over at Deadpool and an awkward feeling kind of kicked in. She didn't expect he'd let things stay quite between them for long though.
Beating him to the punch she merely stated, "It's cold up here."

"It is? Huh guess spandex is a great insulator, also good for showing off my buns of steal" he said smirking. He got up from sitting Still rotating his gun around his fingers. "Ah door nobs, You don't kill people do you, I kill people" He said looking at his favorite gun. He then started to walk up to her. "You know you could at least respone to the jokes I do I mean come on you haven't heard this much comedy since you saw Batman talk" he said smirking.
He Didn't know whether to shoot himself in the head so she'd get the life back in her, or simply stay put. He out weighted the options in his head chuckling to his thoughts.

She studied him for a moment before saying, "Ha. Ha. Ha." Before turning her face away from him again and pouting.
Where was the Batman? Why wasn't he here? Did he really not want to see her again? Was she being obsessive? Probably...
Her thoughts continued to think things over, she looked up towards the bat signal in the sky and pouted slightly. She wanted to get out of there, to find the creep that killed her mother and then get out of there...

DeadPool looked at her think to herself, shaking his head he looked to the side as if looking to a screen. He shrugged saying, "Women", he turn his head back around and went to the side of building. He watched people walk around on the daily life for a minute. Lifting up his mask to his mouth he decided to play a game he always played. He looked around, "50 on the bicycles", he than spat, making it land on the guy.
"YES 50 points to me, now 150 on the old lady" he said spitting again, making it land on the old lady.

"Knock it off." Vanessa was next to him. She grabbed his arm and forcefully turned him towards her. "Really you need to grow up. I'm giving the Bat ten more minutes, and if he doesn't come then you and I will be the ones having a show down."
She tried to make herself intimidating, reaching inside her trench coat she pulled out her police gun. It was unlikely it would do her any good though. Even so she wasn't the type to give up without a fight.

DeadPool looked to her with a smile, he didn't put down the mask letting it stay up. "Ohhhh..a show down between you and me, AND with a gun, babe you are kinky as hell" he said chuckling. " You know I like bullets in my while I have 'my fun time' as the next guy, but call me old fashion, I like knifes" he said smirking.
He knew he was annoying her, but he couldn't help it, that was how he was, he was called the merc with a mouth for a reason. And it was natural for him; when he saw someone becoming annoyed with him to keep on talking.

She frowned and looked down at the gun before putting it away. "No spitting on people. Thats illegal." She turned away to walk across the rooftop and sit on the opposite ledge. If she had to wait with him she wasn't going to be near him where she could make another mistake like the last time.
Since that night she'd often wondered what she'd been thinking.

"WHAT when did this happen, when did spitting on people become such a crime" he said widening his eyes. He paced around ranting on, "This is atrocious, this is a travesty, I am not gonna let this slide, Mrs. Obama, your gonna get a little call from DeadPool". He stopped folding his arms pulling down his mask. "Rassum Frassum no spitting law, Frassum Rassum, Police officers stopping you from spitting" he said pouting.
While talking out loud he wondered how long it was gonna be for the Bat to show. He thought about the battle in his head like a little musical that played. Though he hated musical, it was funny to picture it as one for him.

He was surprised when he saw the Batsignal light up the night sky again. It had been a wreck when he had seen it last during his talk with Vanessa on top of the station. Had this happened prior to the situation in Vanessa’s apartment then he wouldn’t have been suspicious of seeing the light in sky. He would have taken it as an omen that she, and the Gotham PD, were now looking for his assistance. That like his father and brother before him, they wished to work with him. Things were different now thanks to the encounter with Vanessa and Deadpool. Now he didn’t trust her or anything to do with Gotham PD.
So as he approached, he was extremely cautious. From several rooftops away he zoomed in on the rooftop with his lenses in the cowl and watched as Vale waited for his arrival. He knew that Deadpool was near by but he couldn’t see where the ‘Merc with the Mouth’ was hiding. From what he read about Deadpool he knew that while the man was patient, he wouldn’t be able to wait forever for him to show up.
So after four hours, Deadpool proved his point, and showed up on the rooftop with Vanessa. He wasn’t close enough to hear what they were talking about so he knew he would have to get closer. Using his batline, he made his way through the sky to remain unseen. Coming up behind the building, Batman made his way to the top of the of rooftop doorway that led back down inside the station just in time to see Deadpool spitting on people, and stood there in silence. Thanks to his teachings, had the hands of his mother, he was able to remain unseen in plain sight. Once he was sure that they weren’t going to divulge any useful information, Batman decided it was time to reveal himself.
“The police aren’t the ones you should be worried about Deadpool. Or would you prefer I call you Revan?”[/b][/i]
