Selena looked around the Iceberg Lounge as she made her way through the back doors. This was one of the hardest places to get in to, if you took the hard way and stood at the front, waiting for the bouncers to let you in. Usually, though, Selena took the harder way and snuck in through the back. There were a lot of obstacles, but she overcame them like everything else in her life, though it was easy with her flexability. She wasn't as flexable as the woman who was infatuated with her father, Harley Quinn, but she was still flexable. Selena somewhat seethed at the though of that woman. She hated her. Always all over her dad, never shutting up, her voice high and squeaky. It drove Selena to sanities edge once or twice, not that she wasn't insane already, of course.
Selena shook the thought of that...woman from her mind as she walked on through the club, smiling a bit. She and her father had never broken in here before, but that was because her father wasn't a big fan of clubs. This though, was the one place that Selena snuck in to. Sure, high security system, difficult way to break in when you don't want to wait or pay, but it was worth it. Selena loved this place though she hated the minors who sometimes got in. They only made her want to maul people since, you know, they were "cool". Selena didn't think anyone was a real criminal until they could buy their own weaponry and not lie about who they were. Selena shrugged her shoulders though at the concept, thankfully not her problem.
After a moment of looking around, Selena made her way to the bar. It was packed and Selena wasn't sure how she felt about this club being packed, but she smiled and danced, moving through the people with fluidity. If there was one thing Selena was good at, it was squeezing her way through people, mostly to escape a hero(back when they fought against each other, for the most part. Selena still kept them on their toes) and when she was trying to escape a teenage boy who wouldn't leave her alone at clubs like this. Not that it happened often, of course. Selena finally made her way to the bar and saw that there weren't any stools open so she just squeezed her way between two people who weren't talking. She smiled at them and giggled. "Hi," she said before she flagged down the bartender. "Rum and Coke, please!" She said with a smile. The bartender nodded and went off to make her drink.

Hunter was doing his usual thing of spending time at the club. Especially checking out the Hellfire Club's newest acquisition. He wanted to make sure his predecessors were correct in buying the club. He personally wasn't sure. He would've rather bought The Nest but JJ was already a member and wouldn't sell, yet. Hunter would try, once he was Lord Imperial of course. And he knew it would only be a mattter of time before he was and before he owned The Nest and anything else. But he currently had his eye on Stark International. He owned a lot of stock but wanted more.
But he pushed business from his mind as he milled around the club, his personal security team was blending in to the crowd, not like he needed them. He could easily take them out without even using his powers, but what would be the fun in that? As he went to the bar he noticed a young woman and smirked a bit. He'd seen her in here a time or two but never felt like questioning how she got in. He respected her for getting in regardless of little things like rules and the law.
"Put that on my tab."
Hunter said coming to stand beside her. He nodded to the bartender who then went to work on making a drink for him after placing Selena's drink in front of her.
"You know, I don't recall seeing you in here before."

Selena blinked as she heard a deep voice from behind her and turned. She was sort of stunned at who she saw. He was an...extremely attractive man with his dark hair and stunning facial features. Of course, Selena pushed that from her mind and mentally slapped herself. What was she, crazy?! She paused a moment. Of course she was crazy, but that wasn't really the point. She couldn't get distracted. If there was anything daddy dearest had taught her it was to trust no one and if there was something that Selena would never be, it would be like Harley Quinn. She would never hopelessly fawn over any man ever. Selena was her own woman and didn't need help from anyone and she needed to make sure that it was kept that way. If she would ever let a man distract her, she was sure her father would return from the grave to teach her a lesson about it.
When the man spoke again, Selena snapped from her thoughts and grinned, giggling a little. "I'm not really in here a lot. I come in from time to time but, this isn't really my kind of place," she said, shrugging her shoulders before she took her drink and sipped at it. "Thanks, by the way, you didn't need to put this on your tab, unless of course, you see me as a charity case, in which, I can pay my own, thanks," she said, looking over at him, an eyebrow raised. She crossed her arms over her chest after putting down her drink and tilted her head to the side at him before cracking a half smile, unable to help herself. "I'm Selena, by the way," she said, not telling him her last name. It was none of his business anyway. She didn't expect him to tell her his name, but she thought she'd be polite to the man who was buying her a drink.

"Hmm, weird, I thought this was most people's kind of place. May have to remedy that by working on advertising..."
He said mostly to himself and tapped his chin before taking a sip of his drink. The upside to his ability was that he could drink all he wanted and feel no adverse effects. Although if he wanted to get drunk, well that involved some strong alcohol and doing it fast. But he rarely felt a need to do that.
"It's ok, I was merely trying to be a gentleman. You need to relax more."
He said with a slight laugh. He actually got that quite a bit. Women were adamant about trying to prove their independence that they fought someone buying a drink for them. He never did understand that. After all it's a free drink.
"Pleasure to meet you Selena. My name's Hunter Romuluson."
He said before gently taking her hand and kissing it. Was he incredibly attracted to her? Possibly. But he did need a new assistant and she could be perfect for it, if she was smart enough.

Selena tilted her head to the side at the young man in front of her as he muttered to himself about advertising. She guessed he must be the owner or one of the owners of this little club. She took this time in sizing him up and deciding whether or not she wished to be in his company. He seemed rich judging by his suit and whatnot, but he was still quite handsome, which seemed to distract Selena. She knew her father would frown upon it, but she wasn't sure if she...cared? No, no, no! No matter how attractive he is, you don't let him into your head for any reason at all. You remain alone and you stay that way, she scolded herself. She knew that she was doomed if she let a man into her life. Well, unless he understood how she worked and accepted that she was always going to be psychotic and nothing was ever going to change that, but alas, most men never would accept it...and usually tried to change her, not that she had ever had a relationship with any male.
The young past asylum patient was confused and blushed a little when he kissed her hand after introducing himself, she ignored it though and acted normal. She giggled a little, trying to be herself. "Hunter? That's a name I've never heard before," she said, teasing him once more as she looked at him. She wondered if he'd catch her teasing or if he assumed she was making fun of him. Test number one: sense of humor, absent or present? That was usually how it went, not that it really mattered of course. Selena knew how people were and her sense of humor was a little...different from other people seeing as, well, she was hardly ever serious when she spoke to anyone about anything, except for her father of course. That man enjoyed joking as well but when he was serious, she was too.

"Never heard of me before? I'm both shocked and insulted...well mostly shocked."
He said laughing a bit. He didn't actually care if he met a few people who didn't know him. Several people had, or had heard of his company. And soon enough he'd be the most powerful man in the country. And that was what he wanted, no what he deserved. He motioned for her to follow him as he began walking towards a VIP area.
"I enjoy clubs and all but they're hardly the place for conversation."
He said with a smile as he entered the area. The bouncer looked as though he was going to try and stop Selena but Hunter merely placed a hand on his shoulder which gave off some strange black energy. The man cringed, his knees went weak.
"She's with me, don't speak to my guests unless spoken too first, am I understood?"
"Y...yes sir. Please sir..."
Hunter removed his hand and smirked as the man clutched his shoulder. He motioned for Selena to follow him past the wounded bouncer.

Selena tilted her head to the side when Hunter seemed kind of shocked that she had never heard of him before. She didn't quite understand why it was so shocking, but she merely shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not really into the...in or hip things. I have too many other things to worry about instead of who got married and who got who pregnant," she said with a roll of her eyes before she smirked playfully at Hunter. She was still teasing him, of course. She loved the idea of teasing the poor boy. "And to be completely honest I no nothing of the world outside of Gotham," she said truthfully, not owning a television herself. She had never felt the need for one.
The female villain did indeed follow after him, walking towards the VIP area without hesitation. Of course, she was sure she could get out off there if anything got too hairy. She heard Hunter's words and nodded in agreement as she walked after him. As they got closer, she noticed the Bouncer had an interesting look on his face as she approached. It was then that he realized he intended on stopping her, but Hunter made sure that wasn't the case. She blinked curiously at the scene before her. She sort of had the strangest urge to beat the bouncer into unconsciousness, but she resisted and instead followed Hunter inside the non-accessible area. She looked around and noticed that it was quite lavish. "I can't decide if I think you stole this...or just have enough money for it all," she commented as she looked around.

"Well I wouldn't put myself in the same category as those celebrities who are famous for the sake of being famous. That kind of fame is fleeting, not what I want. I want permanent fame."
He said smirking before sitting down on the couch and sighing a bit before taking a swig of his drink. He motioned to one of the empty chairs or couches for her to have a seat. While she seemed to act like she was cool with whatever she seemed slightly nervous, for some reason. He couldn't figure out why though, such a pity. He laughed at her last comment and shook his head before trying to figure out the best way to respond.
"I'd say it's a little of both. Some money here, a few cut throat moves there...."
He said with an almost maniacal smirk. And of course when he used the term 'cut throat' he was meaning it literally. He wasn't like these other so-called 'businessmen' he had grander goals in mind instead of just having the biggest company. Any moron with a little business sense could accomplish that.
"So Selena, what is it you like to do?"

A giggle escaped Selena's lips. "Well that's good. At least I don't have to worry about being front page of the Gotham newspaper," she joked, giggling more. It didn't bother her in the least that she would be in the newspaper actually. She'd prefer to be in it as her counterpart, but she supposed she'd accept it. Not that anyone would know her name of course, which would be interesting. She'd love to know what people would nickname her. Pandora would always be her nickname, though, given to her by her father which was why she used it as her Villain name. Plus, she loved it and is glad that Gotham citizens knew better than to laugh when the Joker called her his little Glycerin Drop on live television when they first saw her. That was a bit embarrassing, but she accepted it and acted like it was no big deal even though it...kind of was to her at the time.
When Hunter motioned for her to sit down, she took the seat in the chair next to the couch where he was sitting. She chuckled at his response. "Really? Interesting..." She saw his maniacal smirk and couldn't help but tilt her head to the side and grin a little wider, one that her father would have more than likely have been proud of. She leaned back in the chair, relaxing, and took a drink of her beverage, making sure to keep a firm hold on it so it wouldn't fall or anything. When Hunter asked her what she liked to do, Selena's ears perked up. She grinned a little and looked at him. "Wouldn't you like to know," she teased before she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "I enjoy walking, practicing my hobbies, listening to music, and...running around," she said, not wanting to really expand on the matter. She shrugged her shoulders casually and grinned at him. "What about you? You know aside from cutting throats."

"Well that isn't something I can promise. Although sadly you and I would probably end up on page 2....for now."
He said with a smirk. The fact he wasn't as famous and as powerful as he deserved to be was quite bothersome. He was the son of Romulus, a man so powerful Sabretooth himself feared him. And Hunter was envious, deadly envious. He needed to get his own minions and make them fear him. He had no problem controlling things from the shadows, that was fine with him.
"Yes, I would like to know. And I'd also like to know what you're so-called hobbies include. And please, don't bullshit me, it's very annoying and insulting."
He said nodding his head, his smirk disappearing for a second. He hated being lied to, it bothered him almost more than anything. He had a few Yes men who had tried it but they never made it the week before a horrible 'accident' befell them.
"And as for me. Well, I run my business, control a few others and have aspirations to take over a certain club. I also keep an eye out for new recruits and new employees. I seem to go through them fast for some reason."
He said smirking and nodding his head toward the bouncer who was clutching his shoulder.

"Only page two? Well that's not fun," she said with another giggle before she shrugged her shoulders. "It's alright though. As you know, you've got to kill a few people or dress up like a flying animal in order to make it front page in Gotham." This elicited another giggle from Selena's plain lips. She couldn't help but think of Batman and Nightwing. Those were always did make her giggle, though Batman more than Nightwing. At least Nightwing looked somewhat bad ass. Batman was just the flying rodent with fun little toys. Although, Nightwing had some interesting toys as well. Mostly his little boy. Selena liked that toy a lot. She'd need to try and steal it the next time the two of them battled, though a part of her didn't want to fight the hero again, which was odd, but unlike her father, Selena didn't like getting her ass kicked almost every time she fought a hero.
Selena looked at Hunter a moment and then nodded in response. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult you. My hobbies aren't something I usually explain to people...they wouldn't understand." She paused, actually feeling genuinely apologetic. "I usually practice my marksmanship and sometimes break in to places, such as your club, no offense but I'm not waiting in line six hours to get a drink and no other club will simply do. I may not like the club scene, but I know the best when I see it. I also sometimes practice my gymnastics as well," she explained. "Oh, and I rob places on occasion," she added, looking over at him before she heard his comment and saw him motion to his bouncer. Selena giggled. "I understand. Good help is so hard to find these days."

"Well there are other ways, but I will agree that in Gotham that is the easiest."
He said nodding his head. Although if his plan went into full motion, and it would, there wouldn't be anymore heroes to take the front page. Well, unless he allowed them to. He had been toying around with a couple other parts of his plan. Although those would be more hard, but he liked a challenge and challenges are fun.
"Hmm...interesting. Although there is an easier way. For one make friends with one of the owners and get on the VIP list. Then you can just walk right in. Although I can understand that breaking in is more fun."
He said smirking and nodding his head. He laughed a bit at her understanding of him. She was a lot smarter than she seemed. And he bet that she probably got that a lot. Everyone thinking she was just a sweet little thing who wouldn't harm a fly.
"So I'm assuming robbing pays well?"

Selena nodded in response to his words, giggling a bit. "Yes, it is much more fun to break in. I'd suggest getting a better security system, unless you don't mind me breaking in of course," she commented slyly with another giggle. "Yes, robbing does pay somewhat well. It all depends on the place and what I steal, really." She sipped at her Rum and Coke once more and gazed at him a moment. He was quite handsome, though...Selena shouldn't care. She should listen to her father's voice nagging at her in the back of her mind. She shouldn't get comfortable around this man, but...she had. This was twisting with her personality and the orders that her father gave before he died.
Selena's eyes dropped to the floor and she saw the carpeting begin to swirl around turning into all sorts of designs. Then the carpeting turned into a memory. One of her as a child with her neglectful parents. They were advancing on her younger self because she didn't do what she was supposed to. Selena watched as her younger self curled up. Selena jumped up to defend her younger self. She heard the crash of glass on the floor and looked down. She saw that her Rum and Coke was now all over the floor. Selena's face grew bright red with embarrassment. She looked at Hunter with wide doe eyes. "I-I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean to..." She quickly knelt down and began to pick up the pieces of glass.

"Well you breaking in I don't mind. But there are others I'd like to keep out of here."
He said with a smirk and nod of his head. He actually didn't have a problem with her breaking in, and that concerned him. He might have to tell security to start looking the other way for her. He guessed she was probably underage too but didn't care. She was interesting and interesting women were pretty hard to come by. He raised an eyebrow though as he watched her begin to freak out. If her drink had been spiked he knew a certain bartender that'd be having a chat with him.
"It's alright."
He said setting his drink down and kneeling beside her. He grabbed her hand before she cut himself and snapped his fingers.
"Just sit, we'll take care of it."
He said with a smile. A server came over and stood patiently awaiting orders.
"Clean this up and get the lady whatever she wishes."

Selena raised an eyebrow at Hunter and then giggled with a light blush when he said that he didn't mind her breaking in. "Yes, well, what're you going to do about it? Aside from increase security and all?" She asked, looking at him intently. To be honest, she wouldn't mind more of a challenge when she broke in, but she wasn't about to tell Hunter that. Though she was more than sure that he'd find her amusing if she did inform him of her thoughts. She decided against it and instead just smiled at him before her episode happened. The poor girl was so embarrassed she didn't even think to blush as his hand touched hers. She looked at him and nodded before walking over and sitting down.
Selena looked at the server and blushed softly. "Um, just a water, please...thank you," she murmured, feeling all around foolish. She sat in the chair, curled up. She never had someone around during any of her episodes. Well, besides Melody, of course, but Melody wasn't someone that Selena was trying to act suave around. Instead she was a...person that Selena knew and hadn't yet had the urge to kill her...aside from what the young female was talking about Selena's father. Then she wanted to kill her. Selena looked at Hunter. "I'm sorry again. I didn't mean to...I um, just had...one of my usual episodes is all," she said honestly, knowing that Hunter didn't like to be lied to.
