"Don't call me little miss."
She said shaking her head as Selena once again walked on her hands. She was weird, but she'd also seen weirder. But it seemed as though Selena was vying for that title and was doing a good job of trying to claim it.
"Anyways, nowhere really. Just walking around."
She said with a shrug. Now that Selena mentioned she had no idea where she should be going. She'd been too caught up in their odd conversations to realize she'd possibly missed a bunch of places she could've auditioned at. Oh well, maybe Gotham just wasn't for her. Unless she was playing a fancy schmancy party for the Wayne's or JJ. And that could prove extremely awkward.
"Why is there somewhere we should be going?"

Selena pouted as she walked on her hands. "Awww, why not?! It's fun to call you that!" She exclaimed with a giggle, unable to help herself. She heard Melody's words and nodded. "Being spontaneous?" Selena asked, looking over and up at her curiously. It felt odd having to look up at someone from such a harsh angle, but Selena didn't seem to mind too much. She actually didn't seem bothered by it at all as she walked along on her hands. She didn't seem to care that her hands were getting scraped and roughed up either, but then again, that was Selena. She did what she wanted and cared not about the consequences, which was usually how things seemed to spiral down hill for her, but she supposed if her father survived through it, then so would she...right?
Melody's question snapped Selena from her thoughts and she pushed off of her hands, doing a flip before landing on her feet. She dusted her hands off and shrugged her shoulders. "No, I was just wondering if you had any idea of what we were doing because we're heading towards Crime Alley at the moment and you did mention that you didn't want to go there..." Selena trailed off and looked over at her, tucking some of her hair behind her ear a moment before she yawned and stretched some, kind of like a cat. She sighed happily before she did a back bend in the middle of the street and then flipped the rest of her body over backwards. Her back popped a few times before she stood up straight and made her way back over to Melody.

"Spontaneous, I suppose that's one way to say it."
She said with a shrug. She didn't personally care where she was going. Part of her didn't want to leave Selena alone just yet. She seemed to have issues. And sure she was acrobatic enough but she didn't know if she could handle herself or not. Then again Melody was beginning to suspect that wouldn't be a problem for her at all.
"Crime Alley?"
She stopped dead in her tracks when Selena mentioned where they were going. But she swallowed the lump in her throat and kept walking, shrugging a bit.
"Well, then I guess we're going into Crime Alley then."
She said as she looked around before looking back over to Selena. She knew she could hold her own here, as Ghost Rider. But with Selena around transforming wouldn't be easy by any means so she'd have to go at it normally. Luckily however she was trained in basic hand to hand combat and always had been a good marksman.

Selena looked at Melody and nodded when she spoke about spontaneous being one way to say it. She knew that this girl had pretty much no idea where she was going or what she was doing. Selena had been purposely leading her towards Crime Alley without actually showing that she was leading her in that general direction. She let Melody believe that she was leading. It was one of Selena's most interesting characteristics. She could make anyone go wherever she wanted whenever she wanted. Selena's adoptive father did love that about her and often used her to get his goons to do his dirty work and go where they didn't actually want to go and by the time they realized what was going on, they couldn't turn back.
When Melody asked about Crime Alley and stopped, Selena knew that something was wrong. She noticed the small nervousness that seemed to course through her before she shrugged it off like it was no big deal. Selena giggled insanely when Melody said that she guessed they were going in to Crime Alley. "How interesting you are, Melody," she said as she walked along with her companion. "How interesting that we're going to the one place that you didn't want to go. Are you sure that you're okay with going? We can hit up The Nest instead," she pretended to reason, acting as if she believed that Melody was scared so that she could lure her in to Crime Alley. She wanted t see what Melody was made out of and if necessary, Selena would rescue her, but she doubted it.

"Interesting? I suppose you could say that."
She said with a shrug. She knew she was weird and her curse didn't make it any easier on her. But it was something she'd grown used to and made her own. Her eyes began to dart around as they grew closer and closer to crime alley. Gunshots could be heard and she knew it was just a normal part of the night here. Only problem was with Selena around transforming wouldn't be easy or probably possible. So she'd have to do it on her own.
"No, remember what I said. I'd rather go to Crime Alley then ask for a job from JJ Grayson."
She said shaking her head. Sure JJ would give it to her but she was worried about how he'd hold it over her. Not to mention he was known for being a flirt and hard to resist. It seemed most women in the hero community had at least flirted with him, aside from her.
"Besides I can hold my own thank you very much."
She said nodding her head. She just needed to remember that even in human form she could still heal thanks to the Ghost Rider curse. It did its best to keep its host healthy and alive.

Selena giggled more and nodded. "Oh, yes, you are very interesting," she cackled lightly, the gunshots and yelling around her not bothering her one bit. She had practically been raised in Crime Alley, and most people didn't know her because usually when she came around, she was in her Pandora get up. She usually hid her face from the world when she came down here, or did anything illegal. Her face would be painted just like her father's, though her lips would only be red and her eyeliner would be thick with black, though not completely back around her eyes like her father's was. Selena knew what to do and she did it well. Sure, she didn't have her father's green hair, but she managed with a nice green shimmer to it when she went out to do what she needed to do. Selena knew that everyone in Gotham City knew about the Joker having a female follower that wasn't Harley Quinnzel, but Selena didn't mind that they pondered it. She loved that she kept her father's memory alive.
"Besides, I can hold my own, thank you very much." Selena gazed at the girl and then giggled. "Can you? Well, Crime Alley is the place to find out if you really can, my dear. Are you sure you want to go down here?" She asked, giggling once more. That question was the exact one asked to her by her father when she was sixteen years old. It wasn't long before Selena was showing him what she had and showing him how much of a fighter she truly was. Of course, she wasn't very good, but her father didn't judge. He instead took her under his wing and taught her the proper way to do things, which Selena was truly greatful for.

"Don't worry about me Selena."
She said nodding her head before walking on into Crime Alley at a casual pace, almost a strut. Sure she had issues with shyness but she also had a temper. Admittedly not as bad as some. But hers only came out when someone though she wasn't good enough, strong enough, fast enough or smart enough to do something. She glanced around, watching alleys out of the corners of her eyes.
"Well aside from the constant screams, gun shots and trash everywhere this isn't THAT much different then the rest of Gotham."
She said with a shrug. Gotham was known for its sky rocketing crime limit, even when the Bat family was at full strength there was still a huge crime limit. And now that it was just a handful of heroes it had grown even bigger. She actually felt bad for JJ having the sole responsibility to police this area on his own.
"I'll admit it's really different compared to the south where I grew up, it's still not horrible. People make it sound like as a woman you'll be mugged, raped and murdered three steps in."

Selena giggled a little and nodded in response to Melody's words before she did a few flips and landed on her hands. "Actually, did you know that this used to be exactly what Gotham was like back in the day," she said almost thoughtfully. "I mean, back when all the criminals ran the city. You know, before Batman came into the picture," she said in a matter-of-fact way. She spoke as if she was just spouting off random facts about Gotham City. Selena began to walk on her hands down Crime Alley, not seeming to be bothered by the people, screams, gun shots, or crazy amounts of trash around. She wasn't worried about it at all. Selena knew that no one in this alley would think about trying to attack her and if they did, they had another thing coming. Selena was skilled in almost all that she did and she wasn't about to hold back if someone decided to try and attack her.
When Melody spoke once more, Selena looked up and over at her from her place in front of her. The young female criminal cackled almost gleefully at the young teenagers words. "It's because if you're not careful, you can be. See, most women don't walk down here anymore so it's not really that big of a deal, but when they do come down here, it's not a pretty sight." Selena pushed off of her hands and landed on her feet. She slid to a stop and turned in the alley, rubbing her hands off on her jeans as she looked at her friends. "But most of the time there isn't much raping that goes on down here. It's usually just murders, robberies, and the occasional mugging," she said honestly, almost thoughtfully as she stood in the middle of the alley like it was no big deal.

"Well luckily for me I am careful, and can handle myself."
She said nodding her head before readjusting her hat. She was getting annoyed with Selena constantly acting like Melody wouldn't be able to handle herself. Why? Because she didn't walk on her hands and have episodes or whatever bullshit she called it? That was crap. Of course Melody was still too shy to say anything like that to anyone, even people she'd known for years. Well except for Shadow that is, she told her horse everything. She turned and began following Selena down the alley still watching out of her peripheral vision.
"Well I can handle myself. Maybe you should just go ahead and worry about yourself."
She said nodding her head. That was probably the meanest thing she'd ever actually said, and now she regretted it a lot.

Selena heard Melody's words once again, but this time she didn't respond, she just continued what she was doing. For a moment, her eyes darted around Crime Alley, wanting to know who all was even around. She couldn't help the giggle that escaped her lips when she saw someone that used to be one of her father's goons sitting next to a trashcan, trying to figure out if there was anything edible inside. Idiot, she thought disgustedly. If the man had only done what her father had simply asked of him, he wouldn't be in this predicament. Instead he would probably be living at Chuckles Inc. with her and most of the other goons that were loyal to her father and her. Oh well, good help was so hard to find these days and plus, Selena had plenty of goons back home to deal with, she didn't really want another one hanging around now that she thought about it.
When Selena heard Melody's harsh statement she pushed off her hands, doing a somersault in the air and smiled happily. "Well well well, I was wondering when you'd finally have enough of my constant banter!" She said with a gleeful cackle. "I have been wondering about you, Melody, but about if you can handle yourself. You obviously can, living on your own and going from place to place looking for a job, but I was just wondering how long it would take before you finally snapped at me," she said, another giggle escaping her lips. Selena did enjoy poking at people until they finally showed a "bad" side. It was one thing that her father had trained her to do very well and she was very proud of it indeed. Not to mention, it was just fun!

"So this was all some game to you?"
She asked turning to her and cocking her head. Sure she knew Selena was a little off but she didn't think anything too bad about her, until now. Now all her training was beginning to tell her Selena had led her into a trap. And with all these people around she wouldn't be able to transform to full defend herself. Of course she was armed and was a good shot, even if it was just a six-shooter.
"Wow, I knew you may be a little off but I didn't judge or think you were that bad."
She said shaking her head.
"Screw it, I'm leaving."
She said before turning around to walk away.

Selena cackled gleefully when Melody asked if this was all a game to her. She shrugged her shoulders. "A little bit," she said before hearing Melody's words once again. She giggled. "A little off? My dear girl have you not yet figured out who I am?" She asked happily before she shook her head and watched as Melody began to walk away. "Have fun leaving!" She called happily before Selena looked at the people around the way. She nodded to them and they all began to advance. "Because without me you're nothing but another girl in Crime Alley," she said quietly before she giggled and did back flips into the darkness. She made her way around and then sat down on an old fire escape that was hidden in the darkness, waiting to see what would happen.
Selena knew that there was something different about Melody, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was so, she decided this little test would be alright. Besides, did Melody really think that Selena had somehow brainwashed her into going into Crime Alley? Technically, Selena did try to get her to not go, but she supposed being the way most people were(resilient towards weakness), Melody went walking in to Crime Alley anyway where she was about to show Selena what she had. Of course, if Melody did somehow manage to capture Selena, she'd probably put her in jail, but because of Selena's mental state, she'd be taken to Arkham Asylum where they'd readmit her and let her out a while later like they always did. And then? Well, Pandora would hide out for a while and once Selena was let free once again, Pandora would let her rage unfold all over Gotham City.

Melody stopped in her tracks when she saw the people advancing on her. So apparently Selena had been keeping her safe. Well no matter, Melody can hold her own in a fight. Sure it'd be easier to transform but not with all these witnesses, that'd be far too dangerous. She turned to face her soon to be attackers.
"I don't care anymore. Because now I'm really pissed off."
She said clenching her fists. She'd love to transform and wipe the ground with all these people and Selena too just for being so difficult, but that was kind of frowned upon by the other heroes when Selena didn't technically do anything illegal, as far as she knew. The first one got to her and reached out for her but received a hard right across the jaw followed by a kick to the crotch.

Selena stayed up on her fire escape, watching to see what was going on. She tilted her head to the side as she watched the scene before her unfold. She shook her head as one of the men ran at Melody. What an idiot. Did he have no brains at all? He should have known better than to run for her. Selena rolled her eyes angrily and made a mental note to teach them all how the hell they were to not attack when she was obviously waiting for them to. They were supposed to wait until she attacked, for obvious reasons. "Gah, it's so hard to find good help these days," she muttered allowed, shaking her head at the goons below. One of them actually looked up at her, leaving himself open for Melody to take down. "Don't look at me, you idiot! Pay attention to what you're doing down there!" She yelled angrily before shaking her head.
Sometimes Selena wished she was back in the good old days where her father was in charge and she didn't have to deal with these morons, but then again, she hated it when her father got stressed out thanks to his work. It really did bother him and she knew that it had, but still. The Joker would have looked weak if his precious Pandora was the one who seemed to be doing everything and so, instead Selena allowed her father to do as he wished with his stupid minions and moved on with her life. Although, there were a few times when The Joker would leave his daughter with a few minions so she could attempt to treat them like they were supposed to be treated, either that, or they were supposed to be her bodyguards and keep her safe, but that never happened in the least.

She saw one take his eyes off her and Melody charged. As the goon looked back he saw Melody's gloved hand headed right for his face. He staggered back holding his nose before getting another shot to the ribs and then jaw. But Melody felt someone grab her by the hair and pull her back. The goon grabbed him as two other approached intending on beating on her while she was helpless.
"Selena I will find you!"
She said before taking a shot to the stomach. She drove her head back into her holder's nose before stomping on his foot. Sure she wasn't a black belt like all the others and did more boxing than anything, but whatever it took to win a fight. She managed to get free and tackled one goon to the ground and began to swing on him as others went to grab her.
